I think Civ 6 working as well as it does could pave the way for more hard core strategy games in the future to move over too
 
I need to ban myself from the e shop and Amazon or something that's south park, Diablo 3 and civ 6 in the last 2 days ! I've not even picked my switch up for 6 months haha

Bit jealous ;) I may request Civ for xmas from my partner. Ive dabbled in the series before but never really got over the initial learning curve, that's down to me really as 5 was good at introducing the game.

I'm still unsure if I'll get smash. I will one day but a bit part of the joy of that series for me nostalgia wise was just multiplayer with friends. Solo play never really lasted for me. Ill keep mybeye on it though as im sure it will be special.

Anyone else wish they hadnt shown off as many characters as they have done? I loved it on the old ones seeing a silouette before the fight and not knowing who was actually in the game :D

Why have you watched any of the videos or read the articles then? I only know all the old characters are there and I have no idea about any of the new ones.

I wouldn't bother getting Smash if you're only going to play by yourself or *shudder* online. It's really an amazing game but you need friends that you can play with regularly to get the most out of it.
 
Anyone else having late-game performance issues in Civ? It was taking about 30 seconds to load the build menu each time. With 30+ cities, that meant really long turn times.

I haven't gone out of my way to watch much on it but just seeing it mentioned, discussed on podcasts etc the odd screen shot here or there builds the picture up rather rapidly. Just seems odd that they are revealing so much.of course I could have gone completely radio silent but then I'd miss out on discussions on other games etc :D

It would just be solo, so unless the solo content is good enough to warrant the price I probably will skip it. I had the last one on Wii U and hardly played that... but then a major point of me not playing that was such a dislike for the system itself that I just begrudge playing on it :D

It was one of the biggest complaints on Reddit. Try restarting the game and loading up your save again.
 
With 30+ cities it will take a long time for everything to work itself out. It's the same on PC and worse on the Switch. I've never gotten to that level so I've not experienced it yet.
 
I have no idea what I'm doing on civ6 but can see tonight getting a bit late , just 1 more turn I now remember why I uninstalled this from my pc !
 
Civ I can understand it being a little higher, as it's been priced higher on iOS and it's not several thousand years old.
Diablo 3 though... Many have bought it several times. They're having a laugh.
Its a great game, but I can't pay full price. I own it on 3 platforms already!
 
For those playing Pokemon Lets Go or played any Pokemon games,have you had the patience to try and get the best IV or even shiny?
I've always just played for fun and I still do but do like the idea of catching a shiny, a lot of guides and people recommend for Lets Go is get a 31 catch combo and then use lure and you'll have a 1 in 325 chance of a shiny to appear.

No, but they are porting it. Charging triple A brand new game price for a 6 year old game is rude. Its even worse when other consoles are selling it for about 1/3 of the price.
 
I had it in my head that Yoshi would be out for Christmas for some reason, disappointed to see it's next year :(

Is DK too hard for a 7 year old?
