I rest my forearms on my legs as all the motion is in the wrist, except when I panic and then move my arm too which results in pretty much no movement!

Split joycons work so much better than the Pro controller because instead of aiming by effectively using a steering wheel motion you are using the right joycon like a laser pointer which is so much more intuitive. Just make sure you always move at the wrist and not the elbow or shoulder.

You have to as the motion controls are not acceleration based. Anything greater than a 90 degree movement needs the right stick.

I would love to join you but my windows of opportunity are very limited and random - so I don't really know. By the time I read the invite from Phate it was already too late. This might sound odd to you but I don't have a mobile phone. Well I do but it is a work phone with limited/restricted access to applications.

Yes, all are welcome of any ability. It's more about overwhelming Mike with bomb chickens when he's on the other team than it is about winning.

Most of what I've read pretty much states that it's good but nothing groundbreaking. A solid 7/10 and recommended if you are in to it. I cancelled my pre-order because of everything else I've got going on but I will definitely be picking it up soon.

Any ability is good. All I have done so far is play the tutorial :cool: I'll trust my mobile, although I'm sure @Phate has it already.

I'm in - Clearly this is a group consisting of 4 absolute legends!! Also until my new joycons get here and the new internals to replace my broken one arrive I will be down a + button. So if I need the + for splatoon im all out of luck.

You missed the space in "leg ends" :p

You need the plus button to open the menu in the main lobby to join a game. There may be someone you can speak to in the lobby to join a game online but I'm not sure.
 
I think you can go into the lobby if you enter the lift under the main stage. Or just press X to open the area menus and join from there? You use + to change gear when actually in the lobby (I think!).

Yoshis crafted world arrived today. First impressions are good This was bought mainly for my youngest but I will probably end up playing through
