Just be prepared to be shut down at some point as Nintendo can be very pedantic about their intellectual property being used for monetary gain.

i don't understand comments like this. it's a brand new console and has 1 amazingly great game to play. many people on here are talking as though the switch is the best console ever in the history of consoles after 1 week of it being around with just 1 game worth playing.

The only reason I own a PS4 this generation is because I wanted to play Destiny. If it wasn't for Destiny I would have never bothered with consoles this generation as they have been underwhelming.

I know how I feel about my PS4 and I know how I feel about Nintendo games. Once this system gets more support and once Destiny 2 comes out on PC I literally wont have any need for my PS4 any more beyond using its USB ports to charge up my devices.

So for me the Switch is far more appealing than the PS4 from the get go

I would have to disagree on the basis Zelda has a lovely charm to it and puzzles. HZD has none of that.

I thought it was Tomb raider in a new skin and TBH ,I enjoyed TR far more. Probably why Im enjoying Zelda more as there are puzzles and more to actually explore instead of just lighting up parts of the map.
 
But in fairness, anyone claiming that the switch was currently the best console offering, from a console gamers perspective, would be utterly lol :p

She took it reasonably well. :D

Pro controller in 2 weeks :D

Yeah, if I was mostly a console gamer I wouldn't dare have just a Switch but as someone who prefers gaming on a PC (Though I haven't played a PC game since January now!!) the Switch is the perfect secondary platform.

PS4 and Xbox I just view as weaker PCs. Good job that PC now gets Xbox games.

If you have a PC xbox is pretty much pointless now. PS4 still has lots of good exclusive games though.

Switch would make a good secondary console to either.
 
I have a few I intend to get eventually (Uncharted 4 being the main candidate) but overall I have not been as wowed with any PS4 games as I have been with Zelda.

TLoU was my first PS4 game as I didn't get it for my PS3 and I was a bit underwhelmed after all the gushing praise it had got. I was bored after an hour or so. I should go back to it one day
 
What battery time are people getting from the Switch when playing things like Shovel Knight? I'm getting 2.5 - 3 hours on average when playing Zelda. I'd assume at least another hour if playing titles less intensive.
