*** Nintendo Switch ***

Some maps/matches benefit from those with sniper like gear. But thats about it really?

Snipers in this are played in a very aggressive and mobile way, much like most of the other weapons tbh. This might be different below S+20 but I can't really comment on those ranks.

I would love them to release PUBG on the Switch, especially as its just come out on mobile platforms and plays great. I think a Switch version could be really good.

Fortnite has to be coming out on it after all the hints, which is way better than PUBG :p

Yea I have to think fortnite is a sure thing given that it's on mobile too etc. No reason not to poop it out on to switch too :D

I'd be much more interesting in Fortnite over PUBG. :)

E3 isn't far off and you're right. If it's already in mobiles then there isn't much of a reason why from a hardware perspective that it couldn't find its way over :)

The only hindrance is that I don't think Nintendo offer F2P games on the Switch yet.

XC2 DLC has been hyped up to be something huge too; if it is, I will not hesitate in re-entering that universe as I LOVED it. However I think it will be very mediocre DLC>

How did you find XC2 after having played Zelda, I like the look of it but think it might be a let-down compared to BotW.

No interest for me in either PUBG or Fortnite.

Tropical Freeze 4 weeks on Friday. Now that's something for me to get excited about!

It's a great game but it's old hat now. I'd play it again for £15 but not full price.

I feel like I'd have been better off if I skipped the WiiU :p

Skyrim is a great post-BotW game. It's a nice improvement on many of the areas Zelda was lacking, but a step back in world navigation.

Good shout. I played Skyrim a while back on PC but didn't get too far, good game but didn't enjoy it as much as Oblivion so kinda lost interest but think I'll probably pick it up and try again if I can get it for a decent price.

Know what you mean about world navigation, I just expect to be able to climb everything now!

I almost bought a Wii U for it but never pulled the trigger. I've been dying to play this for so long.

KraniX Skyrim is so good to have on the go. I've enjoyed it so much more this time around. All the DLC as well which was a bonus for me.

They are quite different games all-round. XC2 isn't a fully open world, more 'open areas'. It has some decent exploration but that doesn't make up it's core loop like with Zelda. It's instead very story-driven (there's something like 14 hours of story cut-scenes...) and a character building/progression focused game.
Xenoblade Chronicles X, the previous in the series, was exploration focused and some aspects of it's world design went on to inspire work done on BotW.

If you tend to enjoy story driven rpg's and semi-complex progression systems with freedom to experiment then you'll probably really like XC2.

Has it?, I haven't heard much about it other than that it's designed to be played after beating the main game.

I was a little disappointed by NG+ as it doesn't really make the game more difficult so not really worth it imo. I am still optimistic about the story expansion though and really want more XC2. Tbh just being a decent expansion along with challenges etc will likely be enough to convince me.

I just got a super NT a few weeks back now I have a thirst to see what they are doing nowadays. I had a wii and wiiu big only turned on the latter like 3 times in all these years.

What I like about the switch is it's basically a high graphics 2ds. Portability is the key. Is it with a buy?

Best console I've bought in the last 10 years, I underestimated it myself and bought one largely because I can't resist any new console but I've put over 500 hours into it between Zelda, Mario, XC2, Mario Rabbids, Stardew and a heap of indie titles.

The popularity means even more titles are coming and there are a load of great indie titles being re-released so if you didn't play them before then it's the perfect platform as you can play on the sofa or on the loo :D

Not sure I agree with the statement of it being a high graphics 2ds, but whatever :p

As others have said, its the most popular console for years for good reason. If it has games that appeal to you, then get one. It always always comes down to the games. It's not a media centre, you can't play Netflix on it etc...its literally for games. If the games on it do not appeal to you then it will suck :p

It really is a joy to play. I feel bad as I have sort of neglected mine for a few months with many of the releases not really being for me but the recent eshop sale as reinvigorated my love for it.

I wasn't going to get dark souls on this platform as usually i go for the most technically strong version. However looking at the comparisions yesterday it pretty much is just the base game from pc with the resolution slider increased and then resold :D

So I'd be more than happy to play on switch as it's not really beneficial to play at "4k" as they haven't done much work at all. Sure 60fps is nice but I played and loved the original at sub 30 fps back its the day.

To buy or not to buy Skyrim in the sale...

Played it to death before on the Xbox, anyone else done that and gone back on the switch?

I'm thinking of picking a Switch up whilst the GPU market settles down.

I'm a huge fan of Zelda and 100% them, so that'll keep me entertained for hundreds of hours I expect.
