Does anyone know how long Nintendo take to turn round a broken joycon? Just noticed my left analog stick button is broken.

Friend of mine just got his sorted, was a 1 week turn around from sending it off to receiving it.

My Joy-Con sticks can wander on their own at times. I Googled it and it seems that they can get dust build up under the rubber seal beneath the stick. Nintendo support recommend cleaning with a brush or cloth from time to time. I've had to do it a couple of times but it does fix the issue.

I've just found an exit and gone into those gardens , really like the art style in this it looks tremendous!

Yeah that's where I ended up eventually going. I got a bit stuck but figured out what I needed to do and managed to get to the boss and defeat it. It's a lovely area and the sound and boss music are fab. I have managed to open up 5 areas now (not including the main shops and bench by the old man) and I've barely begun. The game is huge.

Just noticed that my right Joy-Con is a bit loose. I can actually slide it off without having to press the black button on ir. Any ideas how to fix it?

Bought LA Noire at the weekend for £22. Great game and one that I never completed back on the X360.0

^My left one does the same. The little lug that holds it in place is worn/broken. I really need to buy some new ones. I still want the Mario red ones but I don't want to pay to import them.

So it's on the Joc-Con and not the console that has the issue?

I could buy a replacement or try and pick up a second hand one

Not quite. A fully functioning console (such as my replacement) has no problems with any left joycon, while a faulty console like my first one would have issues when also paired with a weaker left joycon.

My new console also has much better WiFi signal strength.

Have a look at what the black button is doing. The little plastic release lug is quite small but on mine it is definitely not there anymore on the left Joy-Con where on the right one it is there and clips in fine.

Currently ploughing through Portal Knights with my son.

Its great fun, he cant put the damn thing down, constantly crafting and building. Its brought out his inner Minecraft!

So I put a repair request in yesterday morning for my joycon on the website but didnt get a booking email through. Waited till lunchtime and went through it again using a different email in case of some sort of junk email blocking (I run my own MX so I dont think its that).
This morning I put another request in using my work address and nothing so far.

Is this normal to have to wait for the booking assessment to come through or should it come through pretty much straight away?

I had this issue and ended up not being able to send my joycons/console back in because I left it too long. Their system is ****, you need to phone them. I assumed that there was an issue with their confirmation emails and that they would still have a record of my repair request but when I called them they had nothing and wouldn't repair it out of good will. I tried 3-4 times on their online system.

Just call them up or use their online chat.

Thanks mate, I'll do that now!

Edit, all sorted, repair booked in and post label received. What a rubbish system that website repair is!
