No Man's Sky - Procedural space game

Let a nice A class fighter with 40%+ damage roll fly away whilst Starship shopping on a station.
I'm on a budget and it was a steal!

Seems the same ships are on repeat (name and type wise) but there bonus and cargo/tech slots keep re-re rolling each time they dock, so i'm waiting for it to come back and roll a similar :(
Makes a change from zapping minerals and sentinels :)

Seems they only repeat a few times then a new batch comes in, got a decent S for <2m trade in.
Spent nearly 40hours with the starter ship. Finally a bit of room for my rocks (they're minerals Marie!)

Question. Where do you get hazmat gloves from? Station vendors don't sell the blueprints.

In other news, I managed to fix the bug I had with the base computer waypoint being stuck in space. I had to build a new base computer and install it on a planet in the same system as the stuck waypoint. The game autosaved when I claimed the base, and the waypoint moved to the new base computer.

That bloody mission! I ended up using the teleport on the spacestations and finding the home base that way, I created three 'new' ones and they did nothing

Is the above upgrade actually doing anything whilst in the cargo?
I thought these go in a tech slot but computer says no.
Can you not see in numbers the storage you have for your life support and hazzard, rather than a white bar..Hard to tell whats kicking in and what is'nt.

Just in case peeps dont know, i found out by pure chance, if while using the visor analyzer (F) you press E it puts a custom way point on a planet surface.

When trying to play this using big picture on the TV (4k) it seems to be ignoring the resolution that is picked in the game settings and rendering all the time in 4k, bringing my 980ti to it's knees.
Never had this problem before and I know the TV does 1440p just fine.
Any ideas?
Tried using the Nvidia control panel but no luck.
TV is HDMI to the PC, no steam link or anything, still forces 4k even when I don't use big picture and just ask it to use that screen.

Do have it on PS4 but for the life of me I can't aim using a controller :o (plus pc version is so much better)

Much better. Originally (on release), it was pretty sparse so for me it lost its appeal quite quickly after wandering around for a while on various planets.
Fast forward to now and you have 3 stories (paths) to follow if you want to, a load of radial missions in each system and multiple changes across the game.

Still a few bugs like every other game, worth getting on sale and persevering with.

Just how much better than the original game is this now, still riddled with bugs and disappointment or?

What sort of bugs?

Only main bug I've seen thusfar was a base computer bug where it woukd loop showing it was on a planet or a freighter :p

Any, that's all you seemingly use to see re the original game - bugs/issues and disappointment. Looked at a few videos tempting me to buy.

I never played it originally, I only started last week when it was on for £20 through steam, got 15 hrs play so far, can't moan a out that

Not sure about bugs but performance is killing it for me. I've tried everything I can find suggested but no joy. Admittedly my specs aren't great but still easily above their modest recommend specs.
