North Korea

Its Trump not Kim who is the random factor in all this, and I'm not 100% sure Trump *wouldn't* use a nuke in a fit of pique

He has a tenuous grasp on reality and I can easily imagine wouldn't think of the consequences

can you really see the military going along with that?

I wasn't sure, but didn't we ascertain in a previous conversation that Trump, being the commander in chief, has unilateral powers to launch a strike? (I hope that isn't right)

kinda but would you want to start a world war with the first step being you ordering a bike launch and the second step being youre entire joint chiefs of staff refusing the order and steping down from thier posts?

i imagine step 3 is a vote of no confidence/impeachment or assassination depending on your brand of tinfoil

Funny how a lot of commentators say look to "mad dog" Mattis - if he steps down its supposedly a sure fire indication that Trump is about to do something rash in regard to NK - which is kind of messed up.

EDIT: As an aside Trump seems intent on one upping every president in US history and don't forget Truman authorised the use of not one but two nuclear attacks :s

It amazes me how some people are blaming Trump.
North Korea is self claiming as well as reports they are developing nukes, and yet the international community - United Nations are pretty much doing nothing about it, as always.
This isn't the pre invasion of Iraq, North Korea are literally saying they are developing nukes.
For donkies years people have been moaning they wished they had some leader with balls.
And now there is a leader with balls - Trump, they're doing a full u-turn -- just because its Trump, lol you could not make this sh... up!

Lets be like Corbyn and allow North Korea to finalise developing their nukes and thus they potentially sell the designs to other countries who would literally have no remorse what so ever in nuking western civilisation. When it is too late.

For a short trip starting and ending in Beijing we charge about £749 for 4 nights in North Korea although this is going up in January to £799 due to the effects of Brexit on the pound. We are the cheapest operator for a 4 night a tour as far as I know. I don't want to fall a foul of any self promotion rules so I won't say who we are. We run 3 night options too.

Some companies run 2 night tours but I wouldn't recommend something quite so short.

That sounds very reasonable. Is that for everything? Hotels and meals?

The reason no one will stop North Korea is that they have artillery aimed at South Korea. Let them develop and mobilise the icbm nuke and they will be unstoppable.

The UN and all of NATO know that North Korea cannot be controlled nor stopped with anything other than regime change. Yet they idly do nothing while North Korea test nuclear arms, test missiles and want to negotiate with them.

What outcome does the west thing they can negotiate here? North Korea's motivation is to build a nuke to either strike the US or keep their esteemed leader in power. Neither of which are palatable.

Had they threatened Israel with nukes, what would you spect the outcome to be?

I do find it funny how increasingly people have no idea how to deal with a situation that can't be resolved by talking their way out of, there is no negotiated solution and while the US has the military upper hand it isn't such that they can (relatively speaking) take war lightly.

Liberals will blame Trump for everything, if anyone is to blame for this it's the Clintons.

That said, we should had sorted out North Korea one way or the other so long ago, but the ball keeps being kicked down the field to the next generation.

I doubt anything will happen, the status quo will be kept, such a shame because just look how South Korea is compared to North Korea.

Haha

What a complete load of crap. Bill Clinton sold nuclear secrets to China? Really....

I can't believe you would even post that with a straight face.

Here, we have a liberal who is unable to rebuke any claims that the link made but acts like they have the high ground. See, liberals once again, reject evidence presented.

Have you seen some of the stuff he posts?! :p

A other one, who is unable to form an counter argument with any sort of logic or any evidence, but has to resort to a low level personal attack.
