OVO.
Problem solved. Best move I ever made, half the price too.
I just submit meter readings then it tells me how much I owe.. pay it and bobs your uncle

Nice to see my employers name hasnt cropped up yet in this thread... yet lol
If you want npower to start ******** bricks raise a formal complaint and make sure they backdate it to the original time you raised the issue in 2014. Energy suppliers have to report about their complaint figures and having a 2 year complaint will spur someone on.
The problem with Npower is they chucked the vast majority of its back office work offshore so you have someone dealing with it who doesnt really have a clue nor the tools to resolve it.
Re going to the ombudsman you need to have a complaint thats open for 56 days or more or has been deadlocked. Ombudsman are slow but they would undoubtedly rule in your favor as they get a copy of all notes and actions from npower as part of their investigation.
It sounds like they dont understand the debt or the prepay system and they are trying to wing it.
I've been with FirstUtility since I moved house a year ago and they've been really good (and cheap).
Who do you work for HybridX if you don't mind me asking? Of course you don't need to answer (if it's against forum rules too?!)
Guessing Eon?![]()
We jumped from NPower to ovo and they've been great. However, ovo prices are going to jump come renewal time and other providers quotes are cheaper.
Do these companies price match? I'd like to stay with ovo.
