Nurse arrested for murdering babies

I tried to search for friends and family being vilified but DM hangs my computer.

His last example of friends and family being vilified was actually a suspect who was treated very badly by the media so not friends and family.
Others have posted what the DM has said regarding her family, and it doesn't state anything close to what he's claimed - he's had a complete mare with events following the conviction. It's almost like he's got a dog in the race tbh

The media are currently going after her friends and family. Literally go on Daily Mail now and you'll see what they are doing.

Justice has to be seen to be done, I'm all for people being given anonymity up until they're charged, but in 99.9% of cases - once charged, they should be named.

Is it possible, that the familes could bring combined legal action against the hospital, based on the facts of the case?

It seems that the senior managers there seriously dropped the ball, and I'm wondering whether there's a civil case to answer?

I was involved in this and the families claimed - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stafford_Hospital_scandal

It was the reason the Stoke Hospital took over the running of it and all traces of the word Stafford was removed from both hospitals names.

100% will happen. Civil case for certain

The investigation and legal case must have cost the tax payer a fair bit. Possibly millions already before any compensation.
Plus we have to pay to keep her behind bars for another 30-40 years.

The managers at the hospital were denying the deaths at the beginning as all died with different reasons.

Then took 3 months to raise an emergency meeting.

Disgusting

Actually think about what you said:
If the deaths were all for different reasons then it wouldn't be suspicious.
It was only when somebody put two and two together that Letby was present at all deaths/incidents but of course Management then tried to quieten the Clinicians who were whistleblowing because it sounded too absurd.

What actual evidence was there against her, apart from she was on the work rota at the time and a few ambiguous notes at her house?

@Minstadave will back this up.

When a Mum and Baby are in Maternity there are dozens of records including (at our Trust) a specialised software called K2.
Also hand held records including Care Plans, Ward Books, Prescription Charts and so on.
One of the main tools is constant Pathology results which in the case of Lucy Letby saw that results were wrong when she was around babies.
I spend a lot of my working time looking through these records searching for stuff.

Asking to see the evidence even for me would be pointless because you would have to spend the same amount of time that the Jury did plus all the Experts the Jury would call for to verify things. You wouldn't see it in 2 minutes.
