The only punishment they should receive is to be tied to a chair in a room with the mothers and fathers of these poor children.

It is as bad or worse. They chose the youngest children who couldn't speak out, who cannot give evidence in court and who are the most innocent and trusting of adults who should protect them. They knew exactly what they were doing.
2) No crime is unforgivable. Anyone saying that doesn't understand forgiveness.
This is exactly what I disagree with. Our justice system should not be based on revenge.

As bad as it sounds the toddlers won't grow up with a twitch in their eye for the rest of their lives because they won't remember what happened,
All crimes are forgivable. Whether you have the capacity to forgive is your problem.
What absolute rubbish. Why the hell would you forgive someone who had done this? Are you saying once they're out of prison you'd invite them around to your house for a cuppa?
You're wrong. Believe that if you want though.
