Nvidia 30X0 series waterblocks

have you tried nvflash with the gigabyte bios, that will allow 110% power target :)
Not yet, not confident enough to delve into the bios switching. I always worry about borking the card tbh... I'm sure its not all that difficult to do and i've seen the instructions for it but the worry of it not working bugs me.

fair point, its a lot of money to loose if anything goes wrong the retailer or manufacture will void any warranty claims, unless you can flash back

Tbh i asked palit if removal of the cooler for a waterblock would void warranty and they basically said yes its warranty void... :o but then over on twitter they replied to others saying its not provided theres no damage during removal and refit for warranty purposes.

Such a grey area

yeah too right some manufactures allow heatsink removal and other dont, as you say if the removal is careful and nothing is damaged then the warranty should be honored if anything were to go wrong with the card, but then on the flip side if you damage the card afterwards then its a diffrent story which is why i think most manufactures don't allow it

Just logged into to the site where I ordered the 3080 Ventus block and the lead time (which had gone from 12-16 to 3-5 days) has jumped to 60-120 days. Arrgghh

Wow.... what block did you order? Hope its not what i think it is...

I put an overview of the delivery change on a facebook post for the Alphacool GPX block. Alphacool responded that delivery times were a mistake on their website. I ordered via a close partner of Alphacool in Germany so it looks like it is delays shipping from manufacture. The online shop I purchased from is back to a 10-12 day expectation (and not one single email).

Now have a revised date of November 6th, better than four months, so happy
From what i've seen and having spoke to a rep, they restock really quick. Alphacool was one of the first to get a block onto the market and keep supply up to meet demand. So you shouldn't be waiting long at all before you get yours. I probably ordered from the same store as you although originally i ordered direct from alphacool, i soon cancelled when i realised a competitor (online only store) had new stock come in with free next day delivery :D

I ordered from the .CO.UK version of their prefered German retailer, who is still based in Germany and charged a few fingers from my left hand for the delivery as I needed nothing else to push it over the limit to free. They also appeared to be the only stockist too at the time I searched and placed the order.

Is the Ventus a reference design or custom reference pcb?

Just need to sort out the insane colours, was going for a cyberpunk 2077 colour scheme but its not working like i want it to :o

Sick build dude! Whats that side gpu bracket like to install have the same case just waiting patiently for a 30 series and a block to be available at the same time.

Been sat here for weeks looking at my FE box. I can't install the card without a block as it won't fit. Come on EK!

I am in a similar position with my 3090 FE. I don't want to fit it without a water block because that would mean draining the loop to fit it when it eventually arrives. I am also waiting on 5950x to be available. (First time build so I have no other GPU or CPU).

Better looking at it (3090 FE) than looking for it however!
