Nvidia 30X0 series waterblocks

I pre-ordered the Alphacool one, the website says it should ship in 10-11 days

I ordered the Ventus block 15th Oct from the gpx range, Had the same eta, then they (the UK version of the German site) added another 15 days, a week and a half later they emailed me saying they couldn't get it, added another 15 days. then this morning (with 3 days eta left) they bump it back up to 15 days, no email.

They are the official Alphacool distributor, if they can't get it, it means there are none available

Alphacool FE blocks pushed back to 14-15 days now.... I'm starting to think that I won't be able to finish my computer till the new year. Will have to keep the open bench for now :(

MY EK Strix 30 series water block and backplate arrived this morning.....its a heavy bit of kit!

They also threw in a filling bottle in the box.....shame I bought one from OC last week

@Jay85, were you still looking at backplate cooling for your 3090? i found a even better candidate for such an endevor, check it out

https://shop.bitspower.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=5191

as you said before like the ram coolers drilling holes will be needed, but the above has a much more surface area which is miles better than the ram cooler idea :)

oh a quick update i've talked with bitspower and i was a lucky one to get a order in before they went to pre order again, they say my block will be shipped tommorow, there is a week wait at least for the block to come back into stock :(

Thanks for the link mate, definitely cover the backplate easily but i think its abit too big! It would actually overlap on the end i think, i need to double check when i get in later.

I have the aquacomputer ref block with xcs active backplate cooling on preorder still so its still an option to switch over.

Any word on 3080's with preinstalled waterblocks being available in the UK yet? im not fussed if its a custom one using EK or if its out of the factory like the evga hydro copper. Just cant seem to see any about.

Well my strix oc 3090 finally turned up. The things a beast. I can’t even fit it in my case without having the glass panel door open. Hopefully my ek block will turn up soon.
