Nvidia 30X0 series waterblocks

@Jay85 Do you mind if I ask what fluid did you use on your build? I’ve bought some mayhems uv green and to be honest I’m not sure it’s the colour scheme I really want and well yours just looks so awesome.

The ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 EKWB 10GB GPU has appeared elsewhere - their price is £925 though so even I'm umming and erring.

It's a single slot card though and does look very nice.

I've switched from Mayhems stuff as the quality was still below par for me. I'm using EK fluids now, namely Laguna yellow, Azure blue and Neon Green to make turquoise.

Might switch again as i wanna use EK Purple/pink to match the turquoise abit better. I'll check back soon with more details.

Just try to snag a FE model and slap on a block when you can IMO. Makes it single slot and easier down the line for inevitable sell off when you have an air cooler also.

Really your coolant looks purple in the pictures.

Wait which picture are you looking at? I've changed my coolant a few times now.

This is the latest colour:

The coolant you used when you first built it.
Ah okay that was mayhems UV pink mixed with a drop or 2 of mayhems red dye. Gives a really strong colour, have to becareful though, add to much and it gets too red/dark purpley. I tested with a small batch first to get the colour right.

Anyone know if there's a waterblock for the MSI TRIO 3080? I was about to order this card but without a block it will be useless, I was checking out the Alphacool block but not sure if it supports the trio as it's not listed in the compatibility list.

Nevermind, apparently there's an alphacool trio version but it won't be available till the 23rd of November, might just order the card now anyway considering I can eventually get a block for it.

Stupid question (I remember reading it somewhere but can't remember if it was here or somewhere like Reddit) - what is NVidia's warranty terms on removing the cooler and fitting a waterblock on the FE cards? Their support team seem to switch between yes it's fine and no it'll void.

Which is the go to block for a Palit 3090?

Or should they all cool pretty much the same

Palit = GamePro are reference boards, GameRock I think you will have a problem.

If it's the GamePro the manufacturers will have one it's just a matter of picking the one you like most - heatkiller are boosting about improvements but no-one has a clue what it will look like except there won't be any screws visible on the front
