Nvidia 30X0 series waterblocks

What are people's opinions on what looks best between silver and black FE water block's?

I'll be ordering one for my 3090 FE when they are released but assuming it looks the same as the 3080 version, I can't decide what looks better. I have a black Lian-Li O11 Dynamic XL case.

Silver for me, mostly to go in with silver metal tubes I use. That said backplate is black on that model anyways so your getting both anyways so really just which ratio you want and what side you expect to see.

Gotta agree, the silver one looks classy.

I was leaning towards silver too. I plan to vertical mount it to see the cut out in all its glory and silver seems like the cleaner look.

Indeed. Suspect like they said on October for the 3080 block it will go up for pre order last day of November for delivery in 2021 :D:(

It's going to be tricky to lead the loop from the block, with outlet pointed to the right and lead it to the left to cpu or top rad.

I think it depends on your case and loop. Amusingly this block would work perfect for my primary build and been toying with it if I get more 3090's down the line, put them under water in that rig, my tubing dives right into the PSU shroud where the blue and red lines are. Would allign perfect with these new FE blocks:

Rather going into my HTPC which will be harder work!

It won't be too hard if your res and pump is on the right hand side of the card, if anything it will be less tubing runs to do and a more direct approach for a cleaner look.

How? :p

One way , sure it will go toward res, but it has to go toward the left of the case which will not be clean:rolleyes:

Just random question, when you have this 90 two way fitting that seems to be hanging in the air, is it not moving whole loop? Are you not worried that when you just move the case, weight of this fitting would make it leak somewhere?:) I don't know never used them , so just wonder.

Nope absolutely not worried one bit. They're in there really tight to the point where it takes abit of strength to pull them out of the fittings. I've carried this case from my office to kitchen up and down a spiraling staircase and never had anything move inside. If you've got everything tight inside theres nothing to worry about. I'm more concerned about the graphics card coming out of its slot than a fitting coming lose :p.

Send me your card, I'll send you my 3080FE, deal? :P

Those with founders edition cards. Where did you get them? Only place I can see placeholders is on nvidias website. Any 3rd party sellers actually stock them?
I really want to stick a block into my itx case and the fe cards look like a great option for this. Thanks for any advice.

Only officially available from Nvidia website. When I bought my 3090 FE from there on 01/10 the Nvidia store fulfilled the order. Now, you still have to initiate the order from Nvidia store but the 'Buy' link takes you to another website for checkout process and fulfilment (not allowed to mention the other site name on here).

I don't really look at the stock situation on a regular basis as I have my card but I have been paying attention to the forums and this week for example, 3090 FE was available to purchase for about an hour (on Wednesday I think it was). I could place two in my basket and had plenty of time to checkout - I didn't of course!

There are plenty of FE cards on eBay now too.

Nvidia's site links through to a competitor site at certain time when stock becomes available. The out of stock button changes from "out of stock" to a green buy button that links to a competitor site. 3080 goes in an out within minutes so need to be on the link ASAP. 3070's seem to go in about 15 mins and 3090's now stay on for a few hours. Not been a 3080 FE drop in a while though, some people expect next week.
