Nvidia 30X0 series waterblocks

Grabbed a corsair 3080fe block hopefully it won't look too out of place in a full ek loop :/

Not paying £250 for the ek one it could be made of solid gold and serve energy drinks on demand and I still would not pay that, they are turning into the asus of the watercooling world

Let's hope the new Corsair blocks have better quality control this time round!

They actually quote that in the block description they have totally redesigned the terminal with 3 bolts like they should have done in the first place so no chance of leaking. The block looks quiet tidy and solid just don't really like the corsair branding on the backplate might try and clean it off if possible

Yeah, just been on the site. They look great. I was so tempted to go with them last generation but the QC put me off. Looks like you made a solid choice there matey! I still want to see that EKWB FE in action!

Yeah I bet it performs well and it looks great but nothing justifies that price tag that is literally a third of what we paid for the graphics card and at most there will be a degree or two in temps between the other brands

Update, I just received an email from the alphacool distributor saying that my order is now being passed to shipping and should be shipped today, so maybe they got some stock available but is gone all towards pre-orders!

I really like the Corsair design, the only problem there is that the RGB will only work if you use a Corsair RGB controller or Commander PRO, this is why I didn't purchase one from them

The bitspower blocks total length is 239mm, it's quite comical how small the card becomes once a block is installed

Thanks mate!

They always been the most premium and expensive brand, but to be honest with the difference in price compared to the Alphacool one I could buy an O11 Mini and a 360 radiator to go along with it LOL, you're paying aesthetic vs performance if you go EK, I also have everything EK branded except fittings (Barrow) but couldn't justify spending €270 for that block

Actually i just noticed that they include converter so you can connect it directly to any motherboard with 3pin connector. They must've realised that locking themselves into specific devices is stupid idea.

oh really? Where does it say so? damn, just when my alphacool block is being shipped lol

It's more than 1/3 nearer 40%. I still can't decide which one to go far given that I managed to get an FE today.

Scrub that - as the Corsair one is in stock I've got one of those. Should allow me to do a rebuild this weekend - 5950X and a 3080 both under water.

Anyone here mix watercooling brands like res pump and blocks?

If so how does it look?

I'll put my hand up. I've got an EK supremacy on the CPU, I did have an EK block on GPU but not sure what i'll get for the new card.

Res pump combo from alphacool. I like the build.

It's not as jarring as you think, get it roughly right of course but don't lose sleep over it.

Especially now EK are really on the good stuff and setting themselves up to fall from grace with their mental pricing.

I'm actually now considering swapping my EK velocity full nickel and ek kinetic 250 d5 pump res combo to Corsair alternatives, I think fittings go no matter what but aesthetically its nice to have matching parts

Total Mishmash......

I am using an EK res and pump, Byski 360 rad, liquidcool 240 rad Alphacool tubing and CPU block and the GPU block on order. Previously used the Barrow GPU block.
