Nvidia 30X0 series waterblocks

My main gripe with ek stuff is that they never quite get the EK badge perfect. Other than that I don’t know what you guys are fussing about, there stuff looks similar but that’s kind of a good thing if you want your blocks to vaguely match, maybe your onto something though, they could change style with every release forcing you to buy all new blocks every time you upgrade one component....

Judging by this new one though, the inlet and outlet looks like to be at the end of the card rather than in the middle on the edge. Gonna be interesting to do loops with this configuration. I can't imagine how i'd route it running vertically already.

Short route to the reservoir but slightly longer going to the cpu block unless you do a dual loop in which case the route will be very short.

Thing with this EK block on an FE card, it's just gonna look like a tiny weiner GPU in your PC. I like the look of the full length PCB with a full block on it, seems meaty/powerful and getting more for you money.

Just me?

Next thing to contend with is are FE cores going to perform much better?

Cough over compensating cough,

is it just that you want people to know how much you must have spent on a graphics card because of how fat it is?

Hey I re read this and want to say sorry I didn’t mean to come off this much of a ****. I was just messing around and everyone has their own style :)

Personally don't mind a smaller card tbh, saves the weight as well. My rig weighs an absolute ton with all the watercooling gear in it. The gpu block itself contributes to this a lot. It's back breaking stuff trying to move the rig about lol

In Jay's unboxing video he points out various parts of the FE cooler that could be screw covers. Hopefully it's a simple as removing those to access the screws required to take off the cooler.

Same, i think his hinting was more literal telling us theres screws under hear! Can't tell us directly due to nda but still, what else could be under there...

@BluZiff are you using a EK FLT 120 still? with the pump mount?

I impulse bought the PCMR O11d, then filled it with two 360 PE rads and the FLT 360 with the built in d5. Just waiting in this card to finish it, and probably replace the extensions with a set of custom cables for my new PSU at Christmas :)
