Nvidia 30X0 series waterblocks

Thanks for the update. Looks a good alternative to the EK ones. And it includes a back plate. Had my 2080ti on a Alphacool block, it was nice.
Do you know how much postage is?
Not a clue on this one mate, keep in mind this is for the reference card and not the FE card. Alphacool just gave me a #Soon when i asked on their fb page, so hopefully not long for the FE cards.

That's awesome! Now onto the matter... is glue used in the assembly of these coolers? :p

Ah don't joke adhesive ugh thats a really worst case scenario :( I don't think it looks all that bad once those little covers/caps are removed to fine some nice long screws holding it all together.

I reckon then it will start to come apart fairly easily. We shall see. :)

Looking forward to GN's tear down and him telling us its pee easy! Assuming we can get hold of one on the 17th lol!

Tear down right under our noses lol Looks like a few screws keeps everything together. 4 main screws around the core/ram/power phase and then a few in the middle of the heat sink. Once those plastics are removed we should see these main screws. :)

@Shilz Going by this and the cooler bolts theres only 4 bolts that holds the heatsink to the core and then 4 pass through bolts that hold the shroud to the pcb... how many bolts hold the plastic to the heatsink is anyones guess. Theres definitely 2 on either ends of the card and possibly an additional 8 on front and back underneath the plastic tabs.

Alphacool blocks just hit the market and live on their website for the "reference" design.

Looks like the Zotac Trinity is the cheapest one to get with confirmed compatibility at £649.99 from ocuk if prices don't change.
@Gibbo seen ya have them on Preorder will OCUK get stock or its a Preorder item only ??

I'd consider a byski or alphacool block this time.

Surprised no EVGA cards listed as yet. Hopefully they will come in time.

Anyone expecting block shortages or too niche?

Theres a reason for that, someone got a reply back during one of the evga livestreams and they basically said they took the reference pcb and modified it somewhat to suit their needs.... therefore the reference blocks will not fit :o

Disaster! Why EVGA why? Any link pls?

They're meant to be the darlings of water cooling!

Don't have it, it was back over on the nvidia thread in the graphics card section. somewhere between pages 900-1000 lol.

They still are, they'll be bringing out the hydrocopper 3080/3090 as per usual ;).

I ain't paying them prices!

Plus selling on I reckon is gonna be harder.

Maybe Zotac or FE then

Im getting new feeds everyday from different companies releasing new blocks for the FE cards so theres going to be plenty of choice. Some of the other companies like heatkiller and xspc have yet to showcase anything

Thanks, I see ekwb have a list of AIBs now on their configurator and EVGA is absent.

I wonder if the change is very subtle, like yes it's different but not world ending.

Might be that I have to be patient and not pre-order tomorrow.

I suppose plan B would be my first NV FE card, they seem to sell on ok quite well?

But if its not listed there must be a very good reason for it not being there, the change must be enough for them to not warrant the block will fit. Also EVGA prices have been inflated again lol, check ocuk website they've gone up around £30-£40 per card...

Yes FE does seem to hold it's value well. I'm not quite sure why though. My guess is they are supposed to be better, cherry picked, components. But I have no idea if that's true.
Meant to have the better silicon as nvidia use to hog the best chips for their own FE cards. Might be the same this time round but reviews will tell us more today.
Hope I can post this link to EVGA forums don't see why not?

Should be fine, its not a link to a competitor its just a forum. EVGA themselves have confirmed the modified pcb, such a shame! Wonder if their modifications will even make that much of a difference?
