If you're in the queue for an H100, sure (though they might just increase prices to make up for reduced volume). I think most of us are looking at gaming cards though.More pressure for nvidia to drop prices hopefully.
So pretty much like every Western nation, then.
They are still working on building their own inNo, China takes it way beyond most other countries. Pay By Face is a thing and has been for years there, and their facial recognition surveillance is non-stop everywhere outside of rural environments.
Their big brother is way bigger than anything we use currently. Didn’t realise they were using Nvidia or AMD chips for it though, thought they’d be using a rip-off copy of them TBH, like they copy everything else!
It wouldn't be a bad thing if China could make decent Gpus as it only adds to the competition, the cheap Chinese phones are actually pretty good now. They are still working on building their own inhousecountry CPUs and GPUs. Recently they celebrated building the all chinese made ballpoint pen (which is a lot harder to make than you would think). This is all part of their made in china initiative.

They should discount them by the same amount the stock dropped during the last monthMore pressure for nvidia to drop prices hopefully.
They've been banned from selling the A100 and H100 GPUs, not consumer cards. Could well see demand for consumer cards go up signifiantly.
