NVIDIA 4000 Series

Well aware it is for the h100, doesn't stop it affecting their overall business plans(disclaimer, I know very little about business). I very much doubt they will be able to increase the cost of gaming cards looking at the information available.

So pretty much like every Western nation, then.

No, China takes it way beyond most other countries. Pay By Face is a thing and has been for years there, and their facial recognition surveillance is non-stop everywhere outside of rural environments.

Their big brother is way bigger than anything we use currently. Didn’t realise they were using Nvidia or AMD chips for it though, thought they’d be using a rip-off copy of them TBH, like they copy everything else!

They are still working on building their own in house country CPUs and GPUs. Recently they celebrated building the all chinese made ballpoint pen (which is a lot harder to make than you would think). This is all part of their made in china initiative.

It wouldn't be a bad thing if China could make decent Gpus as it only adds to the competition, the cheap Chinese phones are actually pretty good now.

4080 pics apparently

Probably a fake

Might well be real, remember all the talk about the first 30 series heatsink images, most people thought they were fake or 3d printed. Turned out they were real.

This guy made a point about the fan being bigger https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/com.../?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
Maybe it is real?
Not sure if it is an illusion due to the larger outer diameter but the internal hub looks like it is smaller as well.

Regardless, as far as I know ignoring the VRAM chips on the back of the cards, the 3090 FE shroud worked pretty well (can anyone else confirm this?). If they are using a bigger fan it is probably to increase the cooling capacity which confirms the rumours of this card using more power than the previous gen.
