NVIDIA 4000 Series

From Kitguru:

For those in the UK, Nvidia has confirmed the 4070 Super MSRP at £579, the 4070 Ti Super is £769 and the 4080 Super is £959.

I'm a little tempted to scratch an itch but will probably hold off for the time being. 6800XT is fine for everything other than raytracing and truthfully only played Starcraft 1 in the last month.

But we all know it won’t be.

Meh

70ti super for £700 would have probably got me but even that was pushing it.

4080 s, might as well just go 4090

All too late really, best to wait for 50xx now especially since we still haven't got anymore games like CP and AW 2 in terms of PT where the grunt of the likes of a 4090 is required.

The 4070 Super should be available 17th Jan (maybe USA only) but any chance the *normal* 4070 will be discounted around this time?

If the retail is close to £579, that's too close to existing 4070 pricing

My hope is the 4070 Super bring's the 7800XT to sub £500 but i doubt it.

Yeah It's even a £400 card and 4080S is £700 card :p

Its that 12GB, 12GB is the bare minimum for 1440P, with the DLSS tax that we all seem to agree must exist (i don't include myself in that) i would put it at £500, personally i don't think any 12GB GPU is worth more than £450, i don't include the 4060Ti 16GB in that as that is way too slow to be much over £300, DLSS tax again...

I wouldn't buy it at £500 but i know many of you would.

I thought the RTX4070 would be under £500 but the "price-cut" of the RTX4070 is the current street price.

I wouldn't say that's the case anymore, not with what the latter are currently selling for, about double the 4080S RRP. An FE? Maybe so.

Having said that maybe with the price of the 4090 more 4080's will sell and the price will increase accordingly?

I agree to there seems to be quite a bit of space between them now price wise (at FE anyway).
