NVIDIA 4000 Series

Am I allowed to say in this chat? if not delete.
I have it up for 1900 but they have been routinely selling over the last few days for between 1950 and 2000

I asked. because when I posted the last dozen FE cards sold at or below ~£1900.

edit: actually looking back over it, i'm exaggerating. there are quite a few now at £1900 or below though

Yeah this is what I been seeing

Yeah I was willing to take a bit less. if not I'll probs just return, still within window.
Did you FOMO buy it and change your mind? Even if you sold it at £1900, 80% off fees would still be £50. If we assume there's a 5% chance of getting scammed on eBay the risk/reward ratio doesn't seem worth it for £150 profit so I'd just return it.

So you purchased it to scalp it ? Then posting up the price and showing how yours is cheaper ? I'm confused what you are doing but it sounds like you are one of the scalpers on ebay too..

nah always wanted one. but i just didn't open it because i wanted to wait and see what AMD had to say. I may re buy later on just want to know the pound per fps value makes sense for me. Wasn't expecting AMD to be claiming performance like they are. Gonna wait till reviews of those before making another move. Money not the issue for me, value is.

Money clearly is the issue if you are trying to scalp it and have reduced it to a £200 scalp now... I'm really confused by your posts and sounds like advertising your card that is on ebay to me and even showing others charging more than you to bait someone here to go buy it.

I already ordered myself a cablemod cable in anticipation of gettting a 4090 and pre ordered a waterblock. Circumstances changed. My intention was not to scalp. But I have one in my posession and if there are people willing to pay a bit more rather than wait I'm happy to supply. If I don't get an offer thats worth it within a week I will just return.

Just responding to people who replied to me pal. There's no point trying to make out I'm something I'm not.

I will leave this to the mods... as it sounds like another OCUK Darwin award winner to me .. sorry scalping is scalping and you purchased something not to use clearly if it is up for sale at a scalped price and still sealed. If you planned to keep it you would have opened it at least to see it and then maybe changed your mind and thought not for me... but ... anyways ..

Shouldn't be selling for profit here...
I'm literally not, I did not link my listing or say to anyone to DM if they are interested. I was just making a general comment on the state of the second hand market for these cards which many others have done....

You don't have to link it, as it is easy to find with the price you stated you are selling at and used this thread in a way to advertise it was there for sale. I'm sorry but that's how it looks even with your replies. Sorry scalping is scalping in my book and one of the issues messing it up for others in the hobby and our community here ..

You've literally stated you're selling as someone might want to pay rather than wait, and given location, shown a screenshot of similar offers, questioned why your better offer isn't being snapped up, 1 day before a return window closesm.. Just because there is no direct PayPal link, it would still be frowned upon here, I'd have thought.

They were not similar offers, it was a history of previously sold items, the context was how the second hand market is changing. My return window is not for another week and a half. I may still yet keep the card. after my initial post and someone replied about my own price I literally said Idk if I'm allowed to say here so if not delete. If its that much of a big deal delete the comments. I was not here to advertise, or am intentionally scalping. If that's how it came across, then apologies. But If I was scalping then I've gone about it in the most illogical way lol. My preference is to keep the card in all honesty. I'm a 3d artist that wfh and I was buying as an investment. AMD made things more complicated....

The sad thing is you even stated in this post scalping messed it up for you to buy a 3080.. now you have become part of the problem you hated.

Not compared to the 3090 lol Wasn't my first choice, but in a market where getting a regular 3080 was more expensive due to scalping, Being fast at a 3080ti for retail price made more sense
