Indeed, I picked up the Palit. It's cheaper and also the same place doing the FE are offering Paypal 0% up to 48 months which is a nice option. They aren't the cheapest though palits are

why even have a forum if we cant argue over the smalest detailsI was just looking at OCUK prices. For the sake of £10-£15 its splitting hairs.

listen here you little ****"Why" "can't" and "Smallest details."
£200 would make it £1000 that's still too much that's an increase of £350 from 3080
In hindsight nvidia will consider the 3080 msrp as a mistake and if the 3080 is going to be your measuring stick going forward, it’s gonna be one disappointment after another for future generations.

Palit probably has better cooling tooI was just looking at OCUK prices. For the sake of £10-£15 its splitting hairs. Plus Palit is 2 year warranty, FE is 3 years so its here nor there.
doesnt the 4080 have the same size cooler as the 4090? thought i read that somewhere but i am probably wrongPalit probably has better cooling too
yeah got the fe in my hands and i was like damn this is a nice solid brick, shame about the octopus attached to itPersonally I wouldn't consider any aib models for Nvidia, the FE build is too good and they have great cooling and quiet as well.

If your corsair PSU is a type 4 you can fit one of these, fitted one to my corsair and a nice firm click when fitted, and direct to PSU no Octopus adapter needed.yeah got the fe in my hands and i was like damn this is a nice solid brick, shame about the octopus attached to it
