NVIDIA 4000 Series

Can find all the latest cards in stock, 4090's, 7900XTX's 7900XT's 4080's.

3000 series - moan when they aren't in stock

4000 series - moan when they are in stock
To be fair the xtx only just came back into stock today. It will be gone again soon.

They will probably be all gone by tomorrow, if it's like last time. Or on Monday at the latest, if AMD disappoints.

Once they've been on the Nvidia Store for at least a month, only then would I agree they are "gathering dust". ;)
Plus, we need them to gather dust :)

Good news, I bought a 4090 FE last Wednesday. Got a nice water block waiting for it…

Bad news, some ****er has nicked it from DPD depot, last scanned on the 15th and then disappeared :D

Someone’s enjoying my card and I have to wait now for the investigation and god knows when I’ll get the replacement

Ouch. At least you didn't get a pair of bricks delivered..

I would have thought the "investigation" would be sorted out pretty pronto, as the card never even got to your end. I'd certainly be pushing for that.

Fingers crossed for you.

I would hope Nvidia would sort you out. I'm sure they have some stock for RMA etc. Scan will work with DPD.

RT is a magic button when the game engine is built for it, the most modern versions of the major game engines have been designed with RT built in and it can be as simple as clicking a button

Here is a video guide for UE5.1, It's like 3 or 4 mouse clicks to enable ray tracing and then you just modify the settings to optimise it for your hardware, things like how many light bounces etc

That does look good. It took a while but Ray Tracing come a long way since the BF1 2080ti days. Its only Cyberpunk that really challenges my 4090 now but admittedly that is one expensive bit of hardware. Just think were we could be in 5 years from now though with game engines like Unreal Engine 5.

I hope you’re right and I’m not waiting long. I’ve never had any issues with them in the past, I’m sure they’ll sort it out quickly.
I’m upgrading my lads computer for Christmas and giving him my 3080 so I’ll be without a GPU till then.

A good excuse to play some good old point and click adventures :)

I had the KFA2 RTX4090 SG OC delivered today but thinking of returning it and getting the Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 Trinity OC instead which is abit cheaper where I live.

Good idea or shall I keep the KFA2 as I'm not familiar with the KFA2 manufacturer.

I wish more reviewers would test indie/smaller games as it's all very well them testing the triple a titles but some titles like valheim, 7 days to die, grounded are very popular and can be demanding too e.g. I fully expected valheim to be better on amd since vulkan api but seems not (not really just looking at 40xx/rdna 3 level of perf. here either but all round):

I think the 4070ti will come in at $800 with the 4080 being cut to $1000, of course if it comes in at $900 it'll mean we have to wait longer for cuts although I can't see nvidia going for $900 now the 7900XT sits there.
