3 8 pins. I was lucky my PSU came with a specific cable with those little plugs on otherwise it wouldn’t have fit in my case
Christ, I've been out of the loop for a while what with prices going nuts over the last decade. My venerable 980ti is still working but the big old Dell 3014 I pair it with died last night and so a new monitor is on the way and I finally get to try freesync, except that isn't supported until the 1000 series.
Not looking to go mad, so what in the 4060ti sphere would be good to avoid? The rest of my machine is full of ekwb kit so if there is one that comes with a block already that's even better.

Says just 19 sold for me. Not quite as exciting for Nvidia.
I think I'll cling on to my 3060ti for now at least.

Don't jinx me lol. Going to have to upgrade my PSU too, so having a peek at the options including cabling ! Traditionally I've used Corsair products but I'm tempted by the Seasonic Vertex 1000W.Ita quite possible something might burn, especially with that power connector!

Id like to see them do away with the new power connector. Its been pretty problematic, considering there have been no real problems at all with what we had before. Something like an XT90 (from the RC world) and some nice chunky silicone cables would be much better in every way.
Will I need to upgrade my 850w PSU for one of them?
