NVIDIA 5000 SERIES

every 69th inserted frame is jensen telling you to buy more frames.
I just think the quality of the main selling feature is unacceptable especially for a cost of £2000, If you spent that much on an OLED TV and it had stuff like this all over the screen you'd send it back as faulty.

mrk is 100% getting a 5090
I might if the frame gen isn't crap.. but ima wait for real data

I usually disable it on my 4090, in stalker 2 it felt terrible.

my 4090 coil whines so no one on the members market will want it ;) maybe I can give it to cash converters or something

yea I have an oled 0ms refresh rate etc... then we're going to turn frame gen on and get like 50ms frame times? why even buy a nice monitor

jesus those artifacts are terrible... lol at linus saying his siblings wouldn't notice it or whatever.... yea they aren't the type of people who go drop 2k on a gpu though are they...

I'd hope anyone who spends that much is looking for visual IQ

If it helps, I could buy a 100 RTX5090's in cash if I want to, since this is now the discussion :p
Thank you for letting us know, perhaps you could donate 98 of them to contributors to this thread?

Obviously you and me would get one. Realising how crucial it is that I inform everyone here of the fact that I could buy one of these, which I think I've done on here, I'm not sure if I could afford 100 of them.

With that in mind, I clearly need to take a good, long and hard look at myself.

Reactions: TNA
£2399 for black
So £700 over the FE which was £1700 at release , yeah that Astral will be up near £2800 if not £3000 for the air cooled version.... rog tax has gotten worse over the years as my 3090 Strix was £1700 at release which was £200 over the FE .

I do like the look of the Astral but not a chance in hell I'm paying that much for it plus the fact it will eventually be watercooled once a block arrives I will try for the FE or possibly a TUF model ....

The emphasis on MFG just seems ridiculous and a way of filtering down the AI tech they've been focusing on to us plebs. What we really want is a focus on raster improvements but we are clearly not their clients anymore. More like a bit on the side.

Raster performs fine, it's ray/path tracing that tanks performance

Introducing MFG x20

That's right, turn 60fps into 1200fps!

Get rekt Nvidia, your MFG x4 is pathetic, how can you compete against x20 haha

It's weird when you think about it though.... aren't ALL frames "generated" ? Only nVidia could market a feature that every gpu has had since their inception ;)

I got my 4090 for £1500 and felt that was barely a good deal but i was coming from a 2080 and the performance increase was massive for me plus the 4090 was a big step up from the last gen. The 5090 is just at a ridiculous price for what you're getting and anyone even considering getting one must be crazy.
