NVIDIA 5000 SERIES

Oh, I thought you meant people not redditors... Very different bread that! ;)

5070>4090! :D

Ignoring everything else, a bit slower clock with much larger number of CUDA cores or just much larger chip size, should be enough to know raster would be faster...
Well no not REAL people. basement dwellers. :p

Same people that claimed it would only get 28fps in cyberpunk which meant even the 3080 was faster. :p ignoring the fact that was with path tracing on and every setting to max.
I tried that without dlss and my game went to 1fps with my 3080 just to test, was horrific trying to turn it back off.

The power draw looks ridiculous IMO. The 4090 was impressive when it came to power draw, you can limit it to 80% power and still get excellent performance. I would be intrigued to know if the 5090 can do the same.

If you have a 4090 I don’t think the 5090 is worth it personally. And the cost for AIB cards is going to be too high.

I know bro. It hurts. You want it. 32GB sweet VRAM, latest tech and best performance etc.

You will need to learn to slum it out like the rest of us :D

if I could get a 4090 for msrp I would get one and be happy, been looking for almost a year and didn't even see one close to it. choice now of waiting for this to be in stock or waiting to see much AMD have messed up.

It's not gonna happen, my 350watt silent gaming (with no coil whine!) 4090 waves at the 5090 in the rearview mirror :p

If you're on a 4090 already then it doesn't look like it makes too much sense to move to a 5090.

Several of the reviews I watched said it was more of a "productivity" card, and the 5080 was the gamers card.

As I'm on a 3080 Ti I don't really see a reason not to move to the 5090.
