As it stands all GSync monitors will only feature a single DP1.2 port as thats all Nvidia provide on the scaler.
I'd be fairly certain it would just act as any other 4K TN 1ms monitor thats on the market, likewise I would think and AMD user could buy the swift and enjoy 1440p @ 144hz.
I don't think Nvidia would be so fickle as to block AMD cards from using their primary resolution and refresh rates
I didn't think AMD cards could do 144Hz, thought they had to do 120Hz? Or was that just the 7000 series and older?

Can't say I ever noticed tearing bud but that's not to say it wasn't doing it. I will have a play later after work and see what is what.
Question about G-Sync, I run my games at 120fps would g-sync still benefit this? Or is there more benefit from running games at 60fps.
Thanks.
It'll always reduce tearing down to zero and seriously minimise stutter along with it.
Asus ROG Swift monitor ordered, very excited
I'm soooo jealou....pleased for you
Are G-Sync wannabe owners allowed to post in this thread Gregster?
The Asus was what I'd hoped to go for but the Acer seems like a great monitor.
Is it that the Acer is 4K that swayed you over the Asus Gregster?
I see G-sync in my future but I'm undecided on manufacturer, price will probably be the deciding factor for me though.
