**Nvidia G-Sync owners thread**

AOC g2460pg

I picked up the AOC monitor earlier this week and I have to say I'm quite impressed by G-sync. As for the panel itself - it looks good when calibrated but when I looked at it originally straight out of the box I was contemplating returning it. The overall image was horribly washed out looking.

I do like how g-sync irons out the stutters caused by v-sync but at the same time I can still see when the framerate goes too far under 60. G-sync definitely doesn't mask that. One extreme example is when I play GTAV and the framerate drops from 90+ to the 40s. Other than that when my framerate is good it all looks real smooth.

I find G-Sync works better when it's under 60fps.

Just received a dell S2716DG.
When I enable gsync, my frame rate tanks in games and I get horrific input lag (1/2 second...) Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if I've got a faulty monitor

How is everyone finding Gsync? Is it worth the extra amount that a Gsync capable monitor brings, does it do what they say it does?

a resounding yes on all counts, the only way I'm changing my monitor is when 4K/120hz/gsync ones come out

the only ones I struggle with are the widescreen ones at near on £1k as even I can't justify double the price from a 27"/1440 to a 34"/1440 when going to IPS I would actually see as a downside

Yes, Yes and ohhhh YES !

When I had my Fury X before it decided to take a pee from one of the hoses I made sure to get a Freesync monitor and then when I moved over to a 980 Ti after Fury X stock issues and my RMA I made sure to get a G-Sync monitor.

Once you G-Sync/Freesync you cannot go back :)

you know in all honesty i went from a 1080p 60hz with a geforce 670 gtx, to my current 1440p dell gsync.

At first i was like hmmmm whats all this fuss about, doesnt seem any better, its just a bigger screen.

So i went back to my 1080p monitor and the difference was quite jarring.

Its not something that had a massive impact on me going up, or so i thought. I wasnt till i went back to my old monitor that i realised just how silky smooth everything is now.

I also need to get the TFT Central ICC profile loaded into this monitor as im sure the colours arer washed out at default

Hey ROG Swift owners

My monitor fell foul of the dodgy adapter issue and I have been having a HELL of a time getting a replacment from ASUS.

62 Days later I finally have one but it's the same part number of the one that failed - ADP-90YD B - I have heard of other people with the same issue getting a revised PSU for the Swift - EAX1202YH which does not get as hot.

My Swift was manufactured November 2014.

Can you guys please let me know what PSU you have with your Swift's which were made after November 2014?

Asus are claiming I have to keep the dodgy replacement until it also fails as that's the one that comes with my monitor.

Thanks in advance for you help chaps!
