**Nvidia G-Sync owners thread**

Not in Fallout 4 highly modded it doesn't, probably the same with Skyrim.

Everything else is lush :p
I'm not sure why you think g-sync discriminates? Have you actually tested this on a non-gsync monitor and compared?

I can feel the game (FO4) drop to low frames quite frequently, but it feels progressive and evenly distributed, unlike the old way where it suddenly tanks and feels stuttery.

On the 1080p when I had God rays set to ultra as were shadows, It wasn't as noticeable as now. Not sure why you think I'm discriminating based on one bloody game

You're comparing 1080p performance to 1440p. Apples and Oranges. Your issue has nothing to do with G-Sync performance.

Question :

For games that have frame rate issues ( Rare ones under 50fps ), can the res be dropped from 1440p down to 1080p and still have G-Sync? Or does G-Sync only work at the monitor's default spec

The DELL s2716dg is on offer again and Im really rempted to get it. One questino though, I play competitive MP games like CS:GO, Street Fighter 4 etc... which need to have minimal lag.

If I turn ON G-SYNC and turn OFF V-SYNC in game will this get rid of lag and still have all the benefits of G-SYNC?

You turn on G-Sync AND turn on V-Sync :)

Also yes, you'll get no lag :p ( V-Sync on with G-Sync just stops your frame rates from going sky high and beyond the realms of G-Sync :D
