It's a bit of a trade off really. If you want a game with gorgeous graphics, then you need some serious grunt to push it beyond 100fps.

id personally like the option of being able to turn off some of the effects and get a constant 150fps, but that never happens, they still run like buttcake bcos the people that make them don't care to optimize, they cant imagine someone would want more than 60fps

seems like it just gets worse every year too

I use to be into fps games a lot, nothing I seen lately has made me want to get a fast screen again tho

I guess I could get into cs but the ppl who play that annoy me :o
 
Tell me about it, was very tempted myself but cash flow is a bit light. Id have to live on scraps for a month, and tbh im skinny enough.:D

I hear that, Christmas isn't cheap and the amount of partying that needs to be done just adds to it :D
 
Oooooh can join my 2nd list this week

First was joining the 970 Owners (Just waiting for it to arrive at the end of the month)

And now I can join this one as I just ordered AOC G2460PG 24" G-Sync may not be the best G-Sync available but its all I can afford and anything is better than the rubbish I am using now :)

I've got that monitor, and I'm very happy with it.
 
Anything over about 35fps is undetectable to me (ex electronics QC engineer with perfect 20/20 vision before the blind jokes start :p ) so 4k Gsync with a single card is what I'm aiming at long term, when are we likely to see a few more 4k gsync monitors on the market?
