Can I ask why? Even I'm not upgrading from my 980ti. Or did the itch get too strong?
Anyone know when OverclockersUK are going to be cutting their prices as per the Nvidia announcement?
Ordered backplates where dropping everytime I refreshed page.
for me the answer for an upgrade from my 980ti is simple - VR. I personally don't think 4k gaming is what people want. It's either widescreen, multi-monitor or VR at 100fps.
I don't think many people want vr. 4K at high fps is the next logical step.
I love how everyone thinks OCUK will lower prices on 1080 lol
I expect 1080 Ti to be priced near £800. Just you watch.

I will be happy to remind you of this post when we get Palit 1080Ti's up for pre order under £699 at OcUk. Just you watch
I am surprised we haven't seen Gibbo post a 1080 sale thread, they can't keep them at the same price surely?
Very surprised at the price and specs to be honest, I was expecting $799. And 5% slower than the TXP.
The £100 drop is going to put a lot on the competition. AMD is going to struggle I think, a VEGA card with hbm2 competing with the 1080/Ti won't come cheap.
If the 35% is true over the 1080's then I'll be keeping a close eye. Possibly single Ti for me, thinking about ditching SLI at the minute.
Why are they comparing it to a GTX 980 on their website? "3x Faster" yeah... but not compared to a 1080 or even a 980 ti.
And can someone tell me if it's possible to buy it in the USA from, say, EVGA, and have a UK warranty when bringing it back to this country? So you send it to EVGA UK as opposed to USA?
nvidia came up with a decent price, lets just move on yeah?
