**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

takeaways from me.

a) There is no doubt I will be buying a 1080ti (and a VEGA!)
b) This is a normalisation of prices due to competition, this is not a problem for AMD, it is a problem for Nvidia this means....
c) Vega must be as least as fast as the 1080 at a similar price level
d) Glad I did not drink the 1080 cool-aid (my 1080 cards were £852 each all-in before I sent them back)
e) There is in-fact a large amount of full-fat GP102 class chips that Nvidia are sitting on
f) Nvidia have bumped the clock speed of the 1080ti over the Titan Pascal in order to put clear air between it and Vega.

Surprised we have not seen hobib_ali along yet all confused saying what should I do, what should do? Nvidia just chopped my ePeen in half. Shall I sell my overpriced EVGA Classified's and buy 1080Ti's? :p

Wouldn't be surprised the titan pascal blocks fit the 1080ti. Happened with the Maxwell titan and 980ti.

Id say yes they will. The 980Ti fitted the TX maxwell blocks as I had them. Same footprint otherwise minus the 1gb memory of course.

Will be waiting for the news myself so I can get the blocks/plates ordered. Rather than waiting directly for the Ti blocks.
