**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

I had in my mind the NDA was today (9th now) but they could show unboxings yesterday and before. Probably just a random thought in my head about the NDA's but I am none the wiser.
It's a double dip NDA. First one is unboxing only, second one is performance figures. Which means double the press coverage for Nvidia.

technically this breaks NDA, but im guessing Nvidia doesn't mind it as its become a norm for Reviewers, and they all stick to the Date for data release so no real harm. AMD does not allow this and comes after people with a big stick hahaha

No the NDA has two stages with dates specified by Nvidia. You are just not able to disclose performance figures until later today.

Wonder what the actual boost clock was as it's obviously not running at 1480mhz on the core
Looking at TXP results around 2000mhz there's still a fair bit more performance to get when clocked and some of the custom cards will boost to the 1950mhz range without any tweaks I'd imagine.

Not bad. Looks like the Ti beats out the Titan in almost all scenarios.

No surprise there as the 1080ti is set to higher base clocks. I suspect at the same clocks the Titan will "just" be ahead in everything but there is a hell of a difference in price for no noticeable difference in performance.

So does anyone know what a 1600mhz base overclock in the review would equate to when it boosts? In some games the overclock appears to do very little but in the division it's an extra 10fps at 2560x1440.

Too many variables. Will depend on the fan profile and the temperature it gets to as to what boost it reaches plus that varies between cards even at the same temp. They really should have listed boost clock in those reviews. Base line clocks are meaningless.

Guessed as much, after a little searching I think the boost will likely be around 1900mhz, seems to be a difference of around 300mhz on average between reported base clocks and actually boost clocks on pascal card reviews.

That's the rub. Equivalent perf for much less. Think I'll be waiting till May to get the FTW3 though.

Basically the leaked review (if to be trusted) is confirming the expected performance at least that is how I read it. What we still do not know is the performance of the FE regarding thermal throttling and noise.
