**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

Apologies for skipping the thread, I'm at work and don't have a great deal of time *right now* to read through.

Does anybody know the ETA for aftermarket coolers / non-reference cards? Is there a confirmed date?
If not, how long is it usually judging by past releases i.e. 1080, 980Ti?

If somebody could quote my post so I get an alert, that'd be brilliant. Thanks.

few weeks to a few months in the gtx 1080s case .. most people wished they bought a FE because some had to wait months without a card or money

I think I'm still gonna go for FE today...
Worst case I can get EVGA Hydro cooler for extra £100.
Or go with FE EVGA and step up in month or two for FTW version.

Why not adopt that attitude with your current gpu and save yourself £700 :p
Ha, I will be running my PC to my living room connecting to a 4k tv so do actually have a need for the added grunt. Still trying to work out the most elegant way to run a HDMI cable from my PC the other side of the wall into my TV. It's a small flat, guessing a long cable around the skirting board would do it.

You cant normally step up within the same GPU type, so you could buy a 1080 now and step up to a 1080ti, but they dont normally allow 1080ti to 1080ti type upgrades - quite often it takes a few months beore the aftermarket cards even get added to the TO list

I just checked how much Saturday delivery it's going to cost.. £17.40?

just checked most of the gtx 1080s come with free delivery even sat delivery.. would be nice if the 1080 ti came with it too.. because I can see the likes of evga being 750 then delivery its basically nearly 770 -.-

Surely there wouldn't be a repeat the GTX 1080 cockup again?

You would hope not but there is a good chance. When you hear that AIB partners had no prior notice to the this card launch so they are starting from scratch (to a degree) again, I can see some high end AIB cards being a couple of months away again (not looking at you EVGA)

surely this card is now replacing the titan xp performance at half the price, but just wanted to confirm, the tech specs show the card as display port 1.2 certified but 1.3/1.4 ready, does this mean it will be compatible with the upcoming asus pg27uq - 4k 144hz monitor? and will this card in sli, be up to the task of pushing to the monitors potential, im hoping the aib high end eg, asus matrix, msi lightning might be up to the task
