**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

When does OcUK go live with the cards?

6pm tonight. Seen on other websites showcasing MSI and gigabyte FE's.

Not seen any EVGA FE's yet. Looking like a pre-order with them and they are behind...again. I'm half tempted to grab Gigabyte FE's myself, but will see how I feel and the ETA with EVGA come 6pm tonight.

That's wrong.

55/32 = 1.71

If the faster card was 100fps and the slower card was 50fps then we know it's 100% faster, but 100/50=2 so your formula doesn't make sense.

I always go down one hudreth so 1.71 ignore the one so it's 71% faster so 100/50= 2.00 replace the decimal and go down one hundred so instead of 2.00 you get 1.00 remove the decimal 100 so there's your 100% faster it's a mad theory I use but it works and makes sense to me :)

I am not getting a card today but I want to see what is on offer.

Having said that if EVGA do a superclocked FE card I may be tempted.

It's pretty much how i do it as well. Been out of School to long to do it properly but there is no correct way if you come to the correct answer.

I wonder if all Founders Edition 1080 Ti's will be priced at £699 or will some board partners price theirs higher ? Hope not, Got dead on £700.

I would bet money on some being higher (Hi Asus!) but I'm sure Gibbo has already confirmed it somewhere.

Surely they would boost to the same as non-SC within the limits of the cooler.

Gibbo said premium brand FE cards will be higher.
This, though as always some FE cards cost more, cough EVGA, Asus, Zotac etc. so they will be higher, but other brands are a lot fairer and will be at MSRP.

i was nailed on to get one but now the day has arrived and and the hour draws closer im starting to get the buyers remorse even tho i haven't bought it yet
its just hard to justify when my 980Tis in SLI play everything i currently play flawlessly @ 1440p 100hz+

i will probably still get one come 6pm

They need to hurry up with those 4k high refresh monitors

They should have the same max overclock but will boost higher at default.
From the reviews the cards look like they just boost until they hit their thermal limit. So an SC will start off a little higher but I don't really see what benefit that gives you.

Heat does not stop the cards from boosting it just slows them down.

IIRC for every extra 10C you lose 13mhz.

My watercooled Titan will boost to something like 1860mhz at stock but if I overclock it I can run it a lot higher.

If I was running my Titan @40C and stock it would be boosting to 1860mhz but if I got the temps down to 30C it would run at 1873mhz. If I then overclock the card a lot it could be running at 45C and 2088mhz despite the limits with boost.
