**Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Thread**

About The Msi TI being not so good this time round and needed to come out with the Lighting ? that comment?

Not a brand I can recommend due to lack of communication from MSI or their distributors. :(

Asus, Gigabyte, Zotac, Inno3D, EVGA and other brands are way more communicative and which just like you guys is just good customer service and this is at pre-sales level.
We also witnessed how poor MSI were at paying the recent RX 480 cashback they did way back in November and December, having only just paid by end of March and generally ignoring customers complaining.

So you can see and workout for yourselves.

It is no mistake, just like 1080, the Zotac Extreme is the ABSOLUTE BEST 1080Ti on the market, most phases, highest boost clocks and most powerful cooling solution that is also whisper quiet! Plus the 5yr warranty, Zotac really is the no.1 one now and just like with 1080 is I was choosing a 1080Ti Zotac Extreme would be my top choice, followed closely by Aorus Extreme and Asus ROG Strix OC. None of the other cards particular get me excited, but those three do, I do like the Inno3D cards as well, but Zotac all the way.

The 1080 Extremes I had for a short time were VERY impressive! Still gutted that one of the B-Grade cards went ****-up and I had to change :(

@snips86x I will take that into consideration. but in practical terms and real usage MSI cards have always been good performers and i like to use afterburner too, another thing i heard of is that some Gigabyte dont always play nice with afterburner, dont now if it is true maybe not.

Gigabyte, Inno3D, Zotac, Asus custom cards have now all shipped! Due anyday but there will be little to nothing spare as we are fulfilling backorders.

Asus: 100+ Strix due next week (all pre-sold)
Inno3D: 200+ due anyday (most pre-sold)
Gigabyte/Aorus: 80 due anyday (all pre-sold)
Zotac: 60 due anyday (most pre-sold), this is blower version only, Extreme should ship next week and AMP in a couple of weeks.

The most impressive is Asus shipping some real nice volume of Strix OC so early, should land at OcUK next Thursday/Friday.

Are all extreme pre orders fullfilled next week @Gibbo ?

Hey @Gibbo

First time forum user, long time OCUK shopper! Just out of interest. If I preordered an Asus 1080 ti strix OC, would I be guaranteed one of the 100+ you quoted as being shipped? or do you have too many preorders to fulfill everyones preorder?

Thanks for the updates. Very helpful and more info than I found elsewhere online!

Cheers, Dan

So is the Amp definitely the quietest air cooler?

Personally no I don't think it will be. The IChill X3 and the MSI Gaming X will probably be the two but we won't know for sure until all the cards are out and reviewed back2back. The IChill will probably trade temps for sound so that potentially leaves the Gaming X with the best compromise between noise and temps.

Happy days !!! I feel like a kid at christmas :) roll on next week

I would expect custom cards to all perform around the same mark, give or take a couple of frames and a couple of degrees. Noise should really be close as well and OC will mostly be reliant on chip lottery, so anyone buying should look for warranty, design (if that tickles your fancy) and price as purchase factors.
