If I sold my pair of 1080 FTWs I will be tempted if the improvement is good, assuming I can net out somewhere around an additional £500 for the two i'm good with that. Would probably wait for AIB though in case the EK blocks are compatible with the Ti to avoid replacing those... Who knows.

Prices are high but UK currency is crap, and ultimately if you want the higher end cards you'll pay the premium... If you don't want to pay that much then literally don't

The 1080ti won't be faster than two 1080s scaling properly. The question is, has SLI been working well in the games you play?

I prefer the more powerful single card as I refuse to wait on profiles with new releases to get all the performance.

If it is the 1080ti that gets announced tomorrow will probably be my next upgrade, the 980ti is starting to struggle on newer games at 3440x1440 and the 1080 isn't a huge step up compared to the Titan X but with a water block and back plate isn't far off £1400 £1500 atm.
