It's ridiculous isn't it, I spent £1400 and somehow felt like I was some kind of a winner. Everything has just gone to ****.I suppose congratulations are in order for all those who managed to bag MSRP GPUs. Its crazy how the market has gone, it literally feels like some sort of congratulatory event.
I tried this lottery game twice but with my luck there was never a chance. Think I'm gonna stick with my 5700XT for awhile now. My grand plan to offset the cost of new GPU with proceeds of 5700XT looks bust.
Well I may as well just be a millionaire now, these bad boys are worth more than Gold bars at the minute. BRB going to go retire on the Costa Del Sol
Not sure about the 3080ti but I just installed my 3090 and I'm lucky I don't have any drive bays at the front because it wouldn't have fitted if I did.Just out of interest. How large are the actual 3080Ti cards? I'm currently on a 3070 OC card and a Corsair 4000 airflow chassi. worried a future 3080 would not fit, lol
Sucks… the market has forced you into that situation. It's ridiculous isn't it, I spent £1400 and somehow felt like I was some kind of a winner. Everything has just gone to ****.
Yep.Sucks… the market has forced you into that situation.

I planned my build around a radiator up front anyway so I ditched the drive bays from day one.I had to convert my Fractal Design R6 case into an open interior, removing all the front drive bays to fit my 3090FE. It was just a few mm too long. Pain in the backside as I had to re-route all the wiring, but worth it in the end, especially as it improved the air-flow and cooling. Luckily the case has plenty of other mounting points for hard drives and SSDs.
I agree that £1400 is a bonkers price for a card, and even more bonkers that in todays climate that's actually a reasonable price compared to what's being charged for other 30 series cards.
Don't you need 1000 forum posts to see it?Been trying different browsers and pc's to try and see this new member forum section . No joy so far.
Strange how it works for some but not others.
My vega 56 pulse needs an upgrade....

Me too. Not opened it yet!Congrats my dude.
I opened mine and installed it in my current PC temporarily just for fun today. And my god is the 3090 FE a chunky boy, it's triple slot and it's massive. It matches my PC perfectly, all dark grey and black with white lighting which is exactly the same as the rest of my kit.Me too. Not opened it yet!
Massive. Around 30cm long.Just out of interest. How large are the actual 3080Ti cards? I'm currently on a 3070 OC card and a Corsair 4000 airflow chassi. worried a future 3080 would not fit, lol
