NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti to be "available" on June 3rd, RTX 3070Ti on June 10th

I think this is quite accurate. Nvidia release the 3080 way to cheap ( due to perceived competition from AMD ). Crazy though as AMD could have really cleaned up this generation if they could have supplied the GPUS.

Yah, 6800XT should have been priced at around £550, rtx 3080 FE at at £650.

I think AMD would have won. They will learn with their greed.

Thinking of joining the millions of others tomorrow and trying my luck for a 3070 Ti FE.

Can anyone shed some light on on a few things for me:

1. To try snag a 3070 Ti FE tomorrow, the Nvidia store is where I need to go right? You can only buy FE's direct from them, or does it link you to their partner stores?

2. Based on last weeks 3080 Ti FE launch, what time should I be getting out of bed to test my F5 skillz?

3. Right now on the Nvidia store page for the 3070 Ti FE, it shows a "Notify Me" button - does this change to a "Buy" button at the launch time tomorrow (if one is lucky enough to F5 at the exact right moment!)

Man, shopping for a gpu is even more difficult now as I'm shopping from Ireland, and since Brexit a lot of the usual UK hardware retailers ain't shipping to here anymore.

OcUK do still ship to Ireland, but on arrival to Ireland purchases are subject to 23% VAT and 12%-15% import/customs duty. So with already inflated prices for AIB's (versus MSRP) that's no good either!

Both AMD and Nvidia released at around £650.00 MSRP respectively for the 3080 and the 6800 XT.
That was incredible pricing driven by healthy competition and a win for everyone.

Crypto mining, bots, worldwide chip shortages and a side order of pandemic.
Thanks 2021 it's been great.

Pricing will come down eventually when supply exceeds demand in 2022.
It's just a matter of time.

Well look around 2pm on a well known website not the Nvidia store as that link will take you to the site
Sign up on Discord for alerts etc or telegram
After the 1st rush keep on refreshing that site for 12 mins as they will relist the one's that have already brought a 3000 card and failed to get a new upgrade

Thing is, if the well known site you're referring to is the one I think it is, they don't ship to Ireland anymore since January 1st 2021.

If it's a different UK retailer to the one I'm thinking, then I'll have to pay extra VAT and customs charges on delivery to Ireland.

Pretty sure it is the store you’re thinking of and yep, you’re not going to get an FE delivered to Ireland from them.

I know this has been done to death but honestly this card, not only is the perf uplift poor for the price jump, the power draw! Jesus. Ill moan and still try get one though, then hate myself when the other cards drop an hour later

Like all the reviews say at the moment, the very best card on the market at the moment is the one you can actually find in stock at a halfway sensible price

I used to use Parcel Motel when ordering from places in UK that didn't ship to Ireland, but they've stopped that service since the start of this year.

AddressPal however seem to still run a similar service so I've signed up and ready to be greatly disappointed at 1pm today

Also just to mention that yesterday on the OcUK's German sisters website they had few MSI 3080 To in stock, but the price was just too high for me - €2250 / £1950. And yep, they've all sold out now LOL

Do you have to pay VAT twice using AddressPal?

I'm hoping Nvidia will drop 3080 or 3090 after 3070 ti drop today. They did drop all 300series cards 30 minutes after releasing 3080 ti

I still think 3070 fe or 3080 fe is the best value for money
