Suprim X we have 9 more to ship out so give it another hour, if still nothing give customer services a call.
 
Will do, order was at 14:59 and it does show as "ordered" on my order history page

Given that only around 300 were oversold, do you not think it prudent to maybe email those people who dropped thousands of £'s yesterday expecting next-day shipping, with an update?

I spent more than £4K on parts yesterday, expecting them to be delivered today only to find "order preparation" hasn't even started. It's super busy with the 40 series launch, I get that, and that's fine, but when you don't meet expectations you owe it to customers to at least email those with orders in limbo to explain the situation. Not just hold their money and say nothing. This is serious amount of money people are dropping on these cards.

I've spent way too much time this morning going through 19 pages in a buried forum post to try to figure out what was going on after no order update or response to a support ticket. You literally could have sent out a mass email saying "we oversold these cards, here's the wait time, here are the options" instead, we have people asking about individual cards 1-by-1 in here and being drip-fed information... why have you not just posted the status of all the oversold cards instead of having people ask 1-by-1 about their specific purchased card for an update???

Good luck getting through the rest of the orders today, I'm sure you're all busy and trying your best, I'm not mad, these problems happen and I get it, I'm just baffled by the management of this situation and lack of communication outside of the forums.

Absolutely this will be done, but not until we have dealt with the customers who have already made contact with us so were not doubling up, plus we have now already sorted most the customers out and by end of the day all should be sorted and those who are not will be emailed. :)
 
I'd just like to +1 this sentiment.

Payment made and order confirmation received yesterday afternoon, but no further updates since (item showing as in-stock at the time of order). Web-ticket submitted this morning at 09:30 but still no response. Trawling through this thread, it looks like the standard Trinity was oversold (although I'm not sure)... but I've had no contact.

If I'd known there was an issue with my order (I expect there is, no confirmation yet) and that I could have come onto the forums yesterday and potentially gotten reallocated, I would have... but that shouldn't be a precedence.

Again, not mad because I think we all expected this situation. It's just the not knowing after all the time spent trying to get an order through yesterday and having money taken giving hope.

@Gibbo i managed to get my order in just after 3pm I got an order confirmation and nothing since. It says my order is undefined whatever that means. I used the Amazon pay button.

I have sent a webnote to the customer services team last night but have not heard anything since.

Can you give me an update on what the situation is regarding my order. Greatly appreciate it.

GeForce RTX™ 3080 SUPRIM X 10G and no email..... Sadtimes. :( When can I expect the next delivery if I decide not to get a refund.​

Well Amazon just refunded me saying you never got my order ! Not cool to be fair & I wonder how many others had the same problem by the looks of it a lot as just tried to call and it fails........ Its sad as I wanted to give OC another chance but this is the 2nd time this has happened too me it sucks.

The refunds by Amazon are automated at 24hrs.

Hi I'm very disappointed, I wish OC would give some kind of better treatment for customers who ordered but due to technical issue have had their order cancelled!

I have the same situation where I ordered a MSI Suprim X 4090, I received an STXXXXXXX order reference from OC Website but status was Undefined.... and the order was just cancelled today and money is being refunded by Amazon pay.

I called OC Customer service to be told that there is nothing they can do as it was an technical issue, all cards are sold out. The advised now wait until December and keep checking the website. They won't put me on any kind of queue or pre order. This is not good customer service IMO.

It is an automated refund by Amazon. I shall send you a PM.


Well I have broke, got a reply via web note so replied to go with the zotac, just waiting a reply.

Those waiting on MSI Gaming X Trio, the 25 remaining orders, good news 10 are due in tomorrow so that will only leave 15 outstanding. :)
 
Is hard to keep up when trying to work and read multiple pages @Gibbo Do you have any stock left, or are they all gone for now? I see some posts making reference to you maybe having some cards left in stock?

Only for customers in the queues for other cards sold out, if that is maybe yourself contact CS and they can offer you alternative cards to pick from. :)
 
@Gibbo So now that my Suprim x order that was processed at 2:40 has been cancelled due to amazon pay shenanigans. Does that just mean I'm back to square 1 and have to just keep checking for stock updates or are there any alternative courses of action? Kind of a downer as I was screwed out of getting a card here when 30 series launched in a similar way. Thanks for everything you've done so far anyway.

@Gibbo I have ordered a Gigabyte 4090 Gaming OC GPU yesterday at 14:58:23 and had an email saying my order was received (email arrived at 15:36) and I was wondering when could I expect the GPU and if I was lucky enough (doubtful) to be one of the 200 that ordered it in time.

It is worth noting though that in the same order I had preordered a CPU and Motherboard so I am unsure how this will be tackled.

There are still 8 orders for the Gigabyte Gaming OC waiting to ship out and we have enough stock to cover all those orders, I am not sure why these 8 are still sitting here and not sure if one of them is yours, I suggest you give sales/CS a call to check why its not shipped and if any issues they can get that shipped out today for you.

So in to regards to the Amazon issue:

In short Amazon took or attempted to take payment but then never authorised the order with ourselves, as such the status was un-defined, there was no way for us to contact these customers because we never got their details from Amazon, as Amazon never authorised and then sent us said details to process and assign the order. As such it was impossible for OcUK to contact customers as OcUK had no record of the orders.

This is why Amazon has now sent an automatic email 24 hours later stating the following and confirming we as OcUK never got the order:
"The MERCHANT (OcUK) DID NOT receive your order, you won't be charged £xxxx for this order. You might see a pending authorisation on your bank account for up to 30 days. If this authorisation is not removed after 30 days, contact us (Amazon). To complete your purchase return to OcUK's website and try again. Thank you for using Amazon Pay."


We have lodged a complaint with Amazon as customers should have had the authorisation failed email from Amazon pay within minutes, not 24hr later but as OcUK never received the order there was nothing we could do.

We will await Amazon's response and depending on what that is we may actually stop taking Amazon pay and will certainly not recommend customers use it on future orders as to be frank it has created disappointment for our customers for something we cannot control, as such in future please avoid Amazon pay for now until I maybe suggest otherwise when it won't cause an issue again in the future.

Again our apologies.

I take it if I haven’t had a response to my web note by now it won’t be until tomorrow?

It was to accept the offer to change card.

They finish 17:30, you can maybe try calling to see if you get through before they finish for day as warehouse keep shipping out until after 18:00 :)

Ah OK I've forwarded message on if they can sort tonight they will, otherwise be tomorrow.

As to calling customers who are still waiting for calls, that shall be tomorrow onwards now and further PM's will be replied to tomorrow. :)
