NVIDIA GTX 970 OWNERS THREAD

Here is what I'm getting. Crysis 3 is in slow motion too lol
Really bizarre, I have no idea why it's doing it.

I think DDU is probably the way to go.

Hi guys, just after a bit of advice.

I'm upgrading my GPU from the 770 and looking at getting a 970, but unsure as to which one to get, my max budget is probably £300, I play games such as Battlefield 4, Borderlands FIFA, Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs, and in future, GTA V, The Division, Batman, if that helps?

Thanks for any and all help!

Still getting stuttering in BF4 with my 970s. And last night had a couple of occasions where my screen went black for a few seconds when playing.

I'm beginning to think one of my cards is knackered.

Is my Strix at 1512mhz (stock volts) sometimes reaching 75c in intensive games 100% safe? These temps aren't likely to damage the card in the long run, are they? At stock settings the card runs between 68-71c (occasionally hitting 72c) in intensive games.

Upping the power limit obviously results in 2-3c increase in load temps and it won't go lower than that until I change my case and have more than four fans;p

I know 75c is rather hot for a 970 but you already know mine's quite toasty, I just want to confirm whether it's safe.

Perfectly fine, it's still 5C cooler than stock reference cards.

What about other games? Tbh bf4 hasnt ran that great with sli on the last 3-4 sets of nvidia drivers. Ive yet to play it since the update/dlc yesterday. Will be on it later so ill see how it fares.

It stutters in Advanced Warfare and Crysis 3 also.

you could have a problem there, call of duty aw is running fine for me, if both your 970's are not faulty then mabe a fresh install of windows might do the trick, its a pain but sometimes a good clean up can do wonders

Strange one, just played a quick blast on bf4 earlier, game was running very nicely with sli'd 780's. Best ive seen it in a while.
