NVIDIA GTX 970 OWNERS THREAD

Looking to upgrade from my 7850 soon (will be three years old of March next year), hopefully prices will come down a bit by then, like to buy a new gPU on a 3 year cycle.

Generally, do many people have problems with this card? It's just that with my last card I ran into coil whine problems, and they are starting to grate on me (hence the upgrade), and don't want a repeat.

I agree that the G1 looks the better card. At least it is out the box. However if you make something more expensive than something else, it makes it look better.

just did the same upgrade 7850 -> 970
just in the testing it out phase but it's pretty good so far :] i use a 1440p monitor, i very rarely checked the fps i was getting :D but was tied of running games at lowest settings, time to crank things up a little :)
