I've just noticed that DSR settings have disappeared from the control panel with SLI enabled. Can't we have DSR with SLI? :confused:

Running ok here with 780's and 344.48 drivers. DSR menu in global 3d settings.

I'm on 344.75. I've un-installed and re-installed driver but it still isn't showing.

Great temps. Do you know the performance impact of x8?

My windforce are in x16/x16 PCIe 2.0 but they are right next to each other and one throttles. So going to move to the x8 to create a gap which looks good from your setup

I don't think they're is much of a performance impact, if at all. My mobo doesn't do x16 for SLI anyway, x8 is all I can get.

Anyone else getting crashes in games due to the Nvidia driver has stopped working? It's happened twice now while playing Metro last light redux, yet was fine for hours before that.

I have put the latest nvidia driver on but it did the same thing.

I am tempted to get two 970's for SLI over the next month or so and wondered which one to get. (depending if my current stuff sells)

I plan on going tri SLI with 970's at some point as well so they need to be dual slot instead of 2.5 slot.

I was looking at:

MSI
Gigabyte G1
EVGA SC ACX 2.0

Which one out of the above would you all chose and for people who own either, are they ALL dual slot??

None of them!

For SLI I'd be getting the OCUK reference jobbies because they exhaust the heat directly out of the case.

I dont have amazing cooling in my case. It's got one large exhaust fan and one large intake fan.

When I had my WF 670's in SLI, they ran hot and loud. Especially diring spring and summer.

Do you thing, that two WF 970's running in the same case would run cooler and quieter?

Depends on your board spacing. Whilst the 900 series are a bit cooler running. You can still run into issues with wf cards in sli, especially if theyre close together. Also owned wf 670's here but used in a wider spaced board than i have with the 780's in sig.

My board spacing is good. Theres a good gap inbetween. Large enough for a third gpu.

String on here is running two Gigabyte G1's in a Gigabyte Z87 X OC board, decent gap as it uses slots 1 and 3 for sli. Theese cards use the same 3x fan cooling solution as the standard wf cards. His temps were below 70c running heaven.

Now got mine in slots 1 and 5 giving a nice gap. Both cards 60c loaded at stock on the standard profile. In slots 1 and 3 they were throttling so it's worth moving them apart.

What I wonder is whether tri SLI is even possible with these cards on air. Maybe with a high CFM fan blow directly onto them...

Currently running my 3x Gainward GTX 970 on air at 1051@1231Mhz GPU, 1753@1815Mhz ram. They still run at very decent temperatures all 3 with that OC.
