VROP, max operating volts. What is the default v, 1.2?

Stock is about 1.2 yeh, overclocked is this. Going to play DA:I now and see if it drops

That's not a bad clock or temps for the clock. I'd be happy with that.

My SOC was doing 76C at this point and throttling, no throttling in two heated battles with this card - Max volts / 50% fan speed

Still got more to go on the memory too, will try for more next week :D

*Samsung*

If you're referring to the overclock.net bios dude I really wouldn't bother. Just increase your voltage table, clock voltages as well as power target. Saying that, It's only worth increasing the voltage if you need to.

Well I tried and my card didn't like it, had to put my own non modified BIOS back on.

Well, my FTW has just turned up and like the Galax SOC before it, DPD have dropped it during transit.

So, this one is going back for a refund. I think I may well give up on the GTX 980, or at least from OcUK as I need a working machine this weekend.

Gee.....

Ah sorry to hear that :( Had DPD managed to cave the box in or something then? I would've thought that with adequate packing it would still be protected.

Does the card work or is it damaged? the amount of packaging in these things is designed to protect the card in transit. My GPU's from OCUK have always come in an additional box. I have only ever had Cases delivered without additional packaging.

Box has damage to the Corner. I've not opened it at all to check the Card out.

Reason for this, the SOC Card before this had the same Damage to the Box and had ripped the Anti-static bag it was in. That Card had heat problems (even more so than a good Card).

I don't want to risk it nor have to send it back in a couple of Days. I'm just after a working machine now, not is it okay or not.
