Oh hi.

You dirty rotten show off you !!!! Nice setup though - congrats. What sort of clocks and temps you getting on those cards? excuse me I have to go now - need to wipe up the drool :p :D

I was hoping they would so I sent a web note a few days to OC and they replied back the g10s wont fit on a 980

I bet they do. The only reason they would not fit is possibly due to the whole spacing but it doesnt take much to create four new holes. Might give it a try.

Will you guys stop posting water setups, please! I so want to put my whole system under water but can't spend any more money on it.

Haha yea I also would love a water setup.

Well had a chat with George p at nzxt about the g10 fitting on the kaf2 gtx 980. He said the PCB is to long and that the pre done holes would not fit the kaf2 card. I asked about the possibility of making holes that would fit and he said it would void the warranty and would possibly screw the gpu up.

Asked if a g11 was on its way to fit the and he said no  I shall now go to be tonight dreaming of a water coold pc

I would love to put my 3 way GTX 980 reference cards under water but being in an Alienware Area 51 R2 case thats impossible . I would like a good external Kit for all 3 cards , its just the cards that need watercooling as CPU has its standalone already in the system . i dont mind putting a few holes in the case .

any idea's ? its 3 cards though not just 1 card .

I know it's a little different but I'm modding my 980M from this:

to this:

(Note they are not actually soldered in this picture)

Hopefully it will let me at least keep close to the air clocks going on here :) I only get 3 phases for the core so they need to be as strong as possible when trying to go over the 1450mhz region :)

Can you post some pics of your current set up?

If I could I would go all out and build a water cooled rig. I have always built my PC's since day 1. (monster 3D days to be precise) But my peepers are now shot and I would be like Mr Bean having a go at it... good intentions bad execution....

So...

Well Jel

LOL

Is it difficult to fit a water block to a gpu? i had a quick look at the EKWB website, and the installation instructions look a bit beyond my capabilities :( i wish i'd gone for my original choice - an EVGA ftw

It's really easy. Literally undo some screws, clean up then pop some paste on the chip, place the pads where the instructions tell you, and screw it all back together.
