** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

Asus Strix at £799 when the FE is £649

That is beyond frustrating :(

Looks like I may just go for the Founders Edition.

EDIT: Oooo I see the Zotak is £649 also... Quite tempting - Think they're reputable?

most likely phase increase . reference is 13+3 soo guessing Strix is 22 phases, least on 3090 so maybe talking about 16+4 on the Strix 3080 and 17+5 on the 3090?

I’m hoping the price of the EVGA card remains the same...

I’ve been reading posts saying that all prices are just placeholders?

I hope these prices remain the same otherwise the reference card becomes ever so slightly tempting that this point.

I’m also still on the fence about just pulling the trigger and buying one on launch if the NDA still hasn’t been lifted by then (which I’ve also read people saying for Nvidia launches, NDA usually lifts on the day of release)

NDA usually lifts on release day like many of the reviews etc.

The EVGA price is good, but they are showing the FTW3 and not the XC3, which must be this card for the price. I prefer the EVGA design to the other vendors.

Some think the EVGA looks terrible, but I actually don't mind it.

I can see prices going up for this to £699.99.

I did notice that when looking on the EVGA site, hoping that they just got the title wrong and it actually is the FTW3 for £659 ;)

Really wish it was different... however, going by Digital Foundry’s early look at numbers, even without optimised launch drivers, the numbers are absurd

Indeed the numbers are but now depends on pricing, max for me is around £700.

Agreed. I was looking at either the EVGA or Zotac card strictly since they are closest to RRP (at the moment) and have the nicer designs. I'm also curious to see if the "30% quieter and 20° cooler" claims on the FE are true!

We shall soon see, no doubt will see leaks of info in due course.

Can we please get clarification regarding pre-order?

The OP reads as if pre-orders go live on 17th, but many other sources advise there are no pre-orders and the cards will simply be available and released on 17th.

Possibly a case of managing expectations. The FE cards on Nvidia say available from, not pre-order. I would assume the same applies here. But demand will be high, so no guarantee they will be able to allocate stock and send out next day, so it's a pre-order. That's how I read it anyway.
