NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - (PRE)ORDER DISCUSSION **NO COMPETITOR HINTING**

Yeah sadly I got the same, just cancelled. Oh well nvm. Except mine said delivery June lol.
Seems odd to cancel now. AIBs aren't expected to ship volume until mid Feb, so I doubt any of these dates are accurate.

I wouldn't be cancelling any pre-orders now unless you really don't want the card any more. Your best bet now is to sit in a queue - the only way you will get a card faster is if you somehow get lucky on an FE drop. You've got to weigh up whether the chances of that are high enough to justify a life spent tied to a stock alert for the next few weeks/months.

Well I have a 4090 anyway which with the new driver etc is doing rather well.

Lady on the phone did say if you cancel you won’t be able to order with that card again.

I thought they sounded desperate to keep my money, too desperate.

Yeah I just don’t care that much, I don’t like uncertainty, they can either sell it now or not as far as I’m concerned. I’ll take my chances.

You need to question your life choices when you are happy to hand over up to £3K now for a GPU that may arrive at 'some' distant point in the future. The stock is clearly not available, gamers are NOT NVIDIAs priority, and the 5080 is laughable in terms of some of the prices being 'offered'.

What a sad state of affairs, and FOMO is enabling this continued behaviour from a multi-trillion supplier who must be laughing their ******* off. Get a grip.

Position 41 for the suprim AIO, the estimated despatch date changed to awaiting date. I am travelling most of Feb / March unless the send an updated ship date will have to cancel. 4090 for another year :D

I've seen a lot of posts like this, people seem to be getting pretty angry about this launch. Your perspective on things may not be shared by everyone.

I can afford a 5090 and while I'd rather not wait for it to arrive, I certainly don't want to waste time checking for stock updates. Therefore, an unknown shipping date pre-order is the best option for me. It's not a big deal.

I went through that with the 3080, months of missing out by seconds... never again.

For those of us that can afford it, what difference does it make to you?
I don;t drink, have no other hobby's except gaming and make a decent wage.
If you can't/ don't want to spend thousands on your PC than fair play, I don't judge either way. But it's none of your business what other people spend their money on.
