NVIDIA RTX 50 SERIES - Technical/General Discussion

Did you watch this video ?
His conclusion was mixed - limited by the software not allowing him to go above 110% power limit and the memory seemed to have far more headroom than the software allowed
Yes I watched it, it would be a decent card for half the price it's selling, or perhaps decent at 25% less price if the power limit was increased, it's definitely nowhere near worth current price though

I'm looking to get a build done by OCUK with a 5080 for streaming/video editing/some gaming.

Does it matter which 5080 I go for is the first one that I can get my hands on that's cheapest going to be almost as good as all the others?

There's a thread about it here

OH WAIT ! Is that you ?

Here is mine running Furmark, so worst case scenario as games don't hit anywhere as hard as this:

That is using the 2x 8-pin to 12VHPWR Corsair cable (HX1000i).
372W is worst case scenario ? Could pull more than that on my 4080! :p

Try shopping around. They came in much higher when they eventually responded a few days ago. Take into account I sent the web ticket in a good while before launch.

By the time it takes them to get back to you via “web ticket” you are better off waiting for the 6000 series.

Only novices don't undervolt and OC at the same time :p

Jokes aside, you can see the fps is 114fps, which is capped by me, indicated by the sub 100% GPU utilisation.

Uncapped things look a little different:
