Thats surely a full on cancelled, rather than delayed for x months
A lot of games are now. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II for example. It's still up on steam for pre order.
(Why is it tagged on steam with LGBTQ?)

Does Avowed have scars? I know DAV did, I've not seen mention of Avowed having itIf games start including "pronouns" and transgender mastectomy scars then I think it is reasonable to expect them to be tagged in this way.

My mistake, since you said pronouns and scars I assumed you meant games that had both should be tagged as LGBTQ. I'd point out that lesbian/gay relationships/sex has been in games for a while (at least 17 years since ME came out in 2007) and yet the few games I've checked lack an LGBTQ tag on steam.I don't know if it has scars, it has pronouns. My comment was on games in general. These things are creeping into games and the games that include these sort of things then it is only natural they will be categorised as such. DAV has the same tag.

LGBT was a thing in 2007, not sure if the Q had been added at that point or not, but the T was.Well to be honest there is a huge difference between the LGBs and the TQs
They were not all lumped in together in 2007 when ME came out. Things are a lot nuttier than they were then.

As for being trans, for me it's a fantasy world. I dislike it that they've tried to 'fit' gender reassignment into a fantasy setting as it seems like it's them being lazy IMHO. I'd rather they use a spell or potion as to me it fits better thematically. Shape shifting has been a thing for a while.

Eh?I dislike it that they've tried to 'fit' gender reassignment into a fantasy setting.
Sorry was more referring to DAV with surgery scars. I was saying in a fantasy setting it felt lazy, instead of trying to arrive at the same outcome via a more fantasy means i.e. a spell or potion. Or in a more futuristic setting, the ability to initiate the process yourself with it taking time (Culture series of books IIRC)
IIRC the gay part in ME was rumoured to be toned back because some people found it offensive - lesbians seemed to be ok though! But yes - it all boils down to what people find offensive. Personally I've not seen anything in DAV that made me find it extreme or offensive. But that's my opinion.Ultimately this boils down to what most people find reasonable and what most people find unreasonable.
Most people found the content in Mass Effect to be reasonable. (Not all people, but most people). Most people in society consider the sort of thing demonstrated in games like DAV to be unreasonable, in fact extreme.
