Whilst it's specifically about child care, it highlights the lack of medical evidence in general. Then there's the wider issue of pushing it as a societal norm and it's normalisation of it clearly impacts younger people. For me this mirrors PIE in the 70s and how some high profile people got caught up in it.
There's an hour long interview of Billboard Chris by Andrew Gold on youtube that's an interesting watch, regardless of where your beliefs/politics rest.

This is a simply ludicrous situation, it's been going on for years and people have denied it, but these people have now gone totally mask off. They've beem emboldened because their brand of racism was/is deemed acceptable. It's toxifying gaming. And it's costing good people their jobs, no doubt idiots like baldy self-loather would have normally been insulated from the effects of disastrous game sales, hopefully this tide will turn and he gets fired instead.

They're the biggest mard-arses on the planet.
So so many have, but many have come crawling back after virtue signalling their departure and how stunning and brave they've been to leave Twitter, only to find that they get the same grief on Bluesky.
Unfortunately none of them have made the connection that it's maybe the poisonous crap that they continually post that gets peoples backs up.
It's peak narcissism.
Blame the developer / Xbox studios for choosing to advertise their game by letting the art director go on a mad rant. The fact is, for a game that allegedly is already complete, they've released very little footage or info on the game until this week when they've allowed a few select YouTubers some limited access. The writing / story could be fantastic ... but we simply don't know. All we have is some uninspired / dated looking graphics & combat. And then the mad ravings of the aforementioned art director. We've seen this movie before ... it's usually an indication of a poorly made game that's going to bomb. They know it ... and they're getting their excuses in early.
I honestly think a lot of these "mad reactions" such as the art directors are the result of the world crashing down on them, I mentioned similar in the Veilguard thread; we're dealing with people that live in very controlled environments that don't exist in actual reality. They spend a ton of time in what can only be described as toxic positivity, social media becomes a huge part of their lives but they heavily curate it (there's literal apps you can use to auto-ban massive lists of people with even middling to very gentle right leaning views and they're very commonly adopted) and never see the other side of the fence. They don't even attempt to understand or engage in it until they're left with no choice in the matter, and so when they're inevitably confronted with it, often from very tired plebs, they go nuclear. They're hammered with/believe in DEI initiatives within the workplace that only reinforces their opinions, so when they're forced to interact with the public at large (such as during a big game release) they can't comprehend what's going on.

Are we still arguing about a single option on a character creation screen?
Perhaps they should offer two different versions to download.
Or maybe put an option in at the start of the game "would you like to see pronoun selection on the character creation screen or not"?
Although people would still probably be upset at having to choose that.
It won't just be pronoun the game will be filled by transgender pushing propaganda, where is the option to disable that?
