Nah, I wouldn't. From what I know, it takes the quickest route around your body, so it'd only really be measuring the fat in your legs. My PT mate has one that you hold. He said it was rubbish because it only measured BF of the upper body, and since women carry a lot of fat there, the results can be wildly out. If I was going to have BF measured, it'd be the proper callipers treatment. However, I don't want someone picking at me with a pair of callipers, so stuff thatOl!ver said:Yeah was joking. Not sure I'd trust the b/f reading off a pair of scales though.
Hehe - my daughters b/f would have to lose all body fat and chop off a foot to be within the "healthy" zone as defined by one of these sets of scales. I'll see if he's still got the ticket.Lostkat said:From what I know, it takes the quickest route around your body, so it'd only really be measuring the fat in your legs. Also bough a computer for my bike so i can see if i can break my times.
It was so cold coming home tonight, I had to stop and warm my fingers up, Need new gloves now, this bike lark is expensive but worth it.

Try a pair of cycling gloves with a pair of fleece ones over the top, or fleece+thinsulate for extra toastiness.
It's a good feeling isn't it, when you can tell almost day by day how much easier the journey's getting?
